Every birthday I reset my pc too have a nice fresh start. well today I reset my pc and I went to login in and the password is wrong I don't know why it is but it is. I did sign in through google and that worked but it wont let me get back all my stuff without the password (even though im signed in through google?) please help

I've been noticing a consistent issue specifically with Firefox causing my mac to black screen/shutdown involuntarily.

It happens specifically when I use the zoom-in function on firefox web pages (the pinch zoom).

Other times when it doesn't black screen, firefox would sometimes have this pixelated appearance (basically random squares interspersed around a web page at times) after I try zooming in.

Anything I could do to help prevent this problem?

II'm using Win 10 Pro and am having an issue with adding new FF profiles.

I have a shortcut icon in the (bottom) Win 10 taskbar. I've created new FF profiles with unique names and paths, etc. But when I open FF as one of those profiles the open window(s) "attach" to an icon / shortcut in the taskbar, even tho' that icon / shortcut has a completely different target (i.e., path for starting FF).

I don't want windows from Profile New 1 or Profile New 2 to look as if they are for Profile Icon_in_the_Taskbar.

I hope this makes sense. I've created profiles in the past and didn't run into this problem so perhaps it's me. But I also don't believe I'm doing anything different than before.

Like the title says, certain part of UI, including text fields, are displaying the font shown in the screenshot I added. I tried disabling add-ons and updating the app, but neither worked.

I keep getting promts to update firefox to the latest version about every 10 days, why is this? or could it be a scam? I find it unusual to get so many prompts popping up quite regularly to upate firefox, most other programes that I run on my win pc don't do this

I use Spanish/English dictionaries. I also use Web sites in English and in Spanish. I want spellcheck to detect the language and enable the proper spell check. I always had that ability in Safari, for example.

I booted up firefox and clicked on youtube and I got the message please diseable your adblocker. I specifically came back to firefox after a year or 2 of not using it because I read that it will be intependent and will have working adblockers on youtube even when Microsoft edge,Opera and other browsers will bend the knee to Google. So what happened??? Why did the adblockers stop working on mozilla firefox? I have windows 11 and ublock origin as my add blocker. As it was recommened by most sites saying it was the best way to dodge youtubes anti-adblocker system. But now my adblocker no longer works on youtube.

In order to view a PDF, I cannot just open it, I must download it. I tried the solution offered by Jefferson Scher and it didn't work. I'm using the latest version 119 of Mozilla which I downloaded today. 10/26/23

Firefox will NOT LET ME assign a downloads folder, and doesn't ever ask where to save (though that IS checked). There is NOTHING the support base or community I can find addressing this. It tells you to check "ask" and or to assign a downloads folder. Well, I Have checked "ask" and it doesn't ask. And it will not let me select a downloads folder.

And all downloads "fail." So I cannot use Firefox io download anything.

This is a bug. The settings do not work.

I have updated to latest version, this has been the case thru multiple versions. I am using a M1 Macbook pro with Monterey OS.

All of a sudden FF is refusing to resolve web sites I've been using for years, like Reddit and my ISP (iinet). All of a sudden they've all got bad certificates (SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER). It can't be right, I'm not talking about a lot of sites, all at once, all at the same time. Something is broken.

For example, https://webmail.iinet.net.au/ is not dodgy, it's my ISP (part of the TPG group, second biggest in Australia, been around for many years). And since I can't access email I won't necessarily know when you've responded.

My OS is ubuntu20.046LTS, and the Firefox is 118.0.2. Just like the images i post, i can't play the videos at all, but i can play the youtube videos. The developer tools console in twitter video post shows 2 errors:

 The Content-Security-Policy: The page’s settings blocked the loading of a resource at data:i (“object-src”);
 The connection to https://api.twitter.com/live_pipeline/events?topic= was lost while loading the page.

I thought my problem may be related to these errors so i post them. Alough i can play the videos in chrome normally, but i used to the Firefox, please help me

I cannot find an option in the settings to completely turn off translations. I vastly prefer English, Dutch, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese websites in their original language simply because I can read them and translated versions always have issues. But now firefox (I am on version 119, windows) continues checking (and asking for each language) wether I want something translated. How can I turn translations off completely?

I had an email [edited] @drowlin.tech which I no longer use. It was connected to a firefox account, which is now redundant. The email I now use is [edited] @gmail.com. I have tried to get the account closed, but security checks have prevented me from doing so. The same for the email [edited] @yahoo.co.uk, the firefox account it is connected to, is also redundant.

     Any help to close these accounts would be much appreciated.

Another problem I have is I had two aliases [edited] @relay.firefox.com and [edited] @relay.firefox.com used in an early version of Monitor both of which I want to discontinue. the color layers have shifted during the playing of videos, mainly youtube. This started a couple of months ago. There is a green line on the bottom of the screen and a definite shift in the colors on everything.

Hi, I've installed you browser on different devices (Mac and Windows PC). After last upgrade I've a lot of problem. Firefox doesn't work anymore. It crash at the start stopping itself without charging any internet pages. I think the problem was in your last upgrade file, because I ve the same issue both with windows and Mac platform...please help me.

Once Firefox was updated to the latest version nothing worked anymore.

No changes to the Settings were saved. Keeps loading the Mozilla page even after I changed to google.ca. Rebooted, restart the browser, etc. Nothing works. Changing the security settings restart the browser then it won't connect to the web.

Everything worked perfectly with the previous version. As soon as it upgraded nothing worked properly anymore.

Tried to go back to 118 but it keeps updating.

Using a very old version right now to be able to connect (56.0.2) and told it NOT to update.
