Ctrl + T no longer opens a new tab, but instead brings me to the third tab I have open. If I have less than 3 tabs open, it either does nothing (for one tab) or brings me to the second/third (for two or three tabs). Other keyboard shortcuts are not glitched like this. Why is this happening and how I can fix it?

I have already reinstalled Firefox and restarted my computer, but neither of those have done anything.

Hi, PLEASE ASSIST I have a Desktop Computer & also a Laptop Computer(both using Windows 10) I used Firefox Syn to have both Comuters the same BUT BUT,Nothing but Problems On the Desktop Computer,regardless if I open Firefox,both Bookmark Menu & toolbar Menu are the same After (on firefox using Eset Banking) the Toolbar was great,but now,when I open it,it is the same as the normal Bookmark Menu) & if I open Firefox normally,the Menus are the same On Firefox using ESET Banking,I deleted all the menu on the toolbar & Put in the sites I had before all of the SYN But After I had it back to where I need it,GREAT & Shut it down,After 15 minutes I reopened it again & MUCH TO MY DISCUSS.the Toolbar Menu I just had put back is gone & the normal bookmark menu is Back HOW CAN I STOP THIS Through Firefox ESET Banking Tooplbar menu,is a safe way of logging into sites to make payments It is EXTREMELY FRUSTATING Please Help Thank you Darryl.Smith

Hello, I recently had Qustodio installed on my Acer laptop. I want to keep it on, but ever since I installed it, every time Firefox is opened it stays up for anywhere between 20 seconds to 2 minutes, before force closing. No errors are given. For clarity, I am not the parent and do not have parental access, but I have worked with the person who does have access and they receive no reports of any problems. I am also on Windows 10. Qustodio has been a great service, but after reaching out to their team they haven't been able to find a solution either. Other browsers such as Brave also force close within the same time window. I haven't tried any others besides Microsoft Edge, which is the only browser that works. God would I hate to use that. Services such as Steam and Discord have had no issues. I've extensively searched to make sure I had no add-ons, external services/anti spywares, or settings that might cause this - including setting about:config>root>security preferences to true - and have refreshed/reinstalled countless times, yet still the browser crashes. I can and am currently using Firefox just fine on my iPhone, so it does not appear to be a network error. Would anyone be able to help? Having 0 error reports makes this much more difficult to troubleshoot. After doing some searching, it seems no one else has reported this being an issue. Thank you. The search engine I use on both iPhone and laptop is Google.

Not sure how to explain this without the images... But I opened up YouTube just looking for some videos and uhhhhhh. I checked on other things in my computer to see if it's just my GPU or some weird graphic thing, but everything that isn't firefox seems to be working OK. It's not that terrible, I'm just really confused.

Why is this happening? And can I fix it? Started like... two minutes ago.

I searched the forums, and it appears this issue has answers going back 12 years.

Answers explain how to get it to show up again. Basically, it amounts to turning the bar off and back on again.

The problem is it WILL happen again. Why? It's been 12 years and no explanation as to why it happens or how to fix it permanently.

None of the Firefox updates over the years have addressed this either.

Why has Firefox been updated three or more times a month? Is the software not reliable? or Is the software poorly written? or You don't care about your users? For security purposes, we have antiviruses, antispam, etc., software, and firewalls. This is a lousy situation for users like me because we have been asking to update all the time, and it's interfering with the browser settings that get resettled every time there is an update, and I have to set them up again, wasting my time on it. Why can you not do it monthly like Microsoft, and why you don't tell us what is the update for? I would appreciate your answer to it before I decide to switch to another browser. Best regards.

The problem today is with the CA FTB website https://webapp.ftb.ca.gov/MyFTBAccess/Login/AccessYourAccount, I reset the firefox security setting to standard and emptied the cookies and cache. Didn't help. Edge has no problem with the site. There have been other sites with problems lately too such as the login to Vanguard online accounts which logs in, but some features on the site don't work. I don't like Edge, but I'm having to use it too often lately. I believe these problems came up within the last few months. Do you need any further information with which to troubleshoot?

With my previous browsers--such as Chrome and Brave--I could automatically get into key sites without signing in every time. I thought this was due to cookies that my login passcodes. In the case of Google, it is by far the most challenging. Despite having a gmail account since early 2003, and using Google regularly since the '90s, it persists in asking me lots of questions and texting codes, etc.

My situation with Firefox is not working smoothly as it was when I used it for many years about a decade ago. I've already imported such browser data from these sites.

Can you help? Otherwise, I'll move on to Safari again.

When I access bookmarks using the manager/editor I see all bookmarks. However when I try to use bookmarks from the dropdown in the toolbar, I only see some bookmarks. I think it's the newer bookmarks that are missing but not certain.

Hi, good day/evening you all. Hey with a temporary disability I have a real need to limit my mousing and would love to see a feature request I could give a thumbs up on -- for the 3 line menu at the top right being accessible via keyboard. (Also at least some of the choices on it such as History via a hotkey -- after I have the main menu open. By the way I know about pressing Alt, then any of the hotkeys on the old school hidden menu bar -- I'm instead talking about the new always visible hamburger menu icon.)

Where would I search to see if there's been any discussion or progress on that? Bugzilla?

Lately every time you release an update you break something in how Amazon is displayed. Not on all pages, the initial main page is fine, but if you try and view any lists or past purchases the display is unreadable. I've noticed this in the past, but this time it happened right after your last update, so I conclude that's where the problem lies. The attached screenshot is of my Amazon Wishlist. If you have one of those you'll notice the appreaence is way off. And BTW I was trying to delete the list, or perform any of the other actions that result in those warnings. Thank you.

I have met this issue twice. Before I retired my old PC, I did click the "sync now". However, when I login in Firefox in my new PC, I found the bookmarks are very very out of date. Because my old PC was formatted, I lost my latest bookmarks in Firefox.

Could you help with this?

I've been using firefox desktop pretty much since its inception. Despite numerous updates, for well over a year it has been auto scrolling when on facebook and I have tried every fix it to no avail (I'm highly computer literate and to me, this is now nuts). Note. My android mobile has never done it. I am at the end of my tether and am now looking at moving to another browser due to the frustration. I've gone through all the forums and note there are hundreds (if not thousands) of people with the same problem. Why can you not fix this and is there a fix? I don't want to, but I will move to another browser if I cannot get a satisfactory answer. Regards, Paul Mack. [email removed from public]
