I keep my settings on "restore previous session" upon startup; because I use several windows and tabs to organize work on different projects and my general workflow.

After the latest update. Firefox (I'm using developer edition for some reason) crashes upon startup. One of the crash notification windows had me open up in safe mode, which excluded my extensions. There (in safe mode) my previous session opened up and stayed open without crashing. I disabled a few extensions that I no longer use and closed several tabs to see if that would effect the crash problem. I then exited Firefox (I couldn't figure out how to exit safe mode otherwise) and reopened via the start menu. Firefox now opens to what is essentially a new session and I can't figure out how to open the previous one. I'm guessing it "refreshed"? Regardless, is there a way to recover my "previous session" or is it lost forever?

Hello, I have a strange problem, so after loading the system, the processor in my computer is drastically loaded, after entering the task manager, it turns out that one firefox process uses a lot of processor (photo in the attachment) after closing this process everything returns to normal and CPU consumption even while browsing the internet does not exceed 7% but it is quite persistent because I have to close this process every time, I will just add that this problem does not occur in other browsers. and none of my friends have it either. I'm using Windows 10 with the latest updates and the latest Firefox developer edition. The problem has been around for about a year and is really bothersome. My processor up to i7 2760qm, I have 16gb of ram. I will also add that in my second laptop with core 2 duo, this also happens only with me, no one who has this problem. Thank you in advance for your help.

After I used the SpeedTest, then my main page was gone and instead I have a bar of Firefox selected options. I've tried to find how this is done so I can set it back but I can't find it. Firefox 102 beta stopped opening source of web pages in external editor

I have view_source.editor.external set to "true" and view_source.editor.path set to "C:\Program Files\Notepad++\notepad++.exe"

Before version 102, CTRL-U on any web page would open the page's source in the external editor.

In 102, the source is opened in the internal source viewer (in a browser tab).

The console shows:

Hi,

The saved-telemetry-pings folder in my Firefox profile doesn't get cleaned up of the old telemetry pings, and it just keeps growing over time.

I have pings in this folder that are from October 2021 and I doubt this is a normal behavior.

It's not the first time this thing happen, and October 2021 is probably the last time I cleaned this folder.

How do I make it so it doesn't keep telemetry pings, but I can still use telemetry. I use the beta Firefox, and I'd like to keep some telemetry as some of the devs at Mozilla foolishly rely on the telemetry to slash features, when telemetry is so broken it's better set to disabled than enabled.

Hello,

excuse me, this is a translation.

Could you tell me, please, if there is finally a solution for the bookmarks that are in gray and not yellow as before, because gray is very unpleasant and if possible we can change the color of the bookmarks, thank you.

Cordially.

About using these firefox support pages and this search feature specifically.

the more words I add the more results are returned there seems to be no intellegence in selecting the appropriate answer, it all appears keyword driven.

This is not beneficial in reaching the correct answer. At times I will go to 'Ask your question' because of this and I can guess many of us do. No one wants to read un-related articles!

I would expect to see the results lessen by adding more keywords to a refinement which I can then see in real time.

Basically, what it says in the title. Not so long time ago I started noticing that Firefox starts randomly "freezing" when switching between tabs (most often) and clicking on links within webpages. I put "freezing" in quotation marks, because it's not really frozen - I can click on the tab and interface would respond, but showing new tab wouldn't happen. I made a video and shared it on Google Drive. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IBVhYru58l5xlfkz7GrvYuscWqCoC_gH/view?usp=sharing

Few things to consider: 1) Bug present in both latest stable and beta versions 2) Bug still present in completely clean installation of Firefox, without any add-ons and not signed-in in the account 3) I use v2ray and Qv2ray to bypass internet restrictions of a country where I am currently at. It seems that "freezing" has to do with poor internet connection. Has anyone encountered similar problems?

Since back in 2004, some releases perform as the following: Open a TAB. See a link you would like tp open as a new Tab.

EITHER CAN HAPPEN: 1. It put that link as a "NEW TAB" AND the Cursor STAYS WHERE IT IS. Allowing you to select more links to create MORE NEW TABS, etc.

2. It put that link as a "NEW TAB AND MOVES THE cursor TO THE NEW TAB JUST CREATED and you are no longer on the original TAB and can not create/move more links to new tabs.

90% of the time I prefer to STAY so I can create multiple LINKS as NEW TABS, THEN go to the new tabs for viewing.

is that an OPTION or a "NEW FEATURE"?

Somewhere between firefox developer edition 80 and firefox developer edition 94 a bug was introduced that results in firefox showing a huge list of possible public domains for an email address that i'm trying to enter.

Firefox should only show values I've entered previously. Instead it shows garbage such as gmail and yahoo as shown in the picture.

How do I wipe the list that it's using so that it never happens again?
