When I click on a new tab, I get searchleasier.com window that simply adds to the windows open and has no purpose. How do I get rid of it?

The first Tab , Google Homepage default , shows Any Country , Any Time , All Results . If I open a second Tab or a third and enter the exact same Search item in Google , none of the other Tabs offer the same Options as the first Tab . I cannot select Country , for example on a second or third open Tab . I would like the same options shown on the first , Homepage to show up on every Tab I have opened .

Is there a way to do this please ?

I've deleted all saved logins and passwords from Mozilla Security Options. The list is clear, yet still when I start typing my email other emails pops up. Few of this email contains passwords beacause some of websites, while typing password deciedes to jump to Email back again while typing. Also Shift + Delete doesn't work either.

how to remove the information you see connected to the Control Center 'i' icon at the left end of the location/address bar that show the website name when there is an EV certificate? I just would like a simple address bar thanks

I submitted this as a problem, but found a solution on the internet. Basically I have renamed Conexant Flow exe. This appears to have solved the problem. This is for your info.

My regular them stopped working and apparently is no longer supported so I went looking for a new one. When I click on download I get an error "Download failed. Please check your connection." My connection is fine.

Just had an encounter with a website that completed took over Firefox and, apparently, installed something that blocks me from installing any Ad Blocking Add-Ons. I have reinstalled Firefox and am running 66 but no matter what I do, the same ad blockers I was using before will not install and are completely removed from Firefox. I get ads by the tons now that I have never gotten before, someone has figured out how to disable permanently your add ons and pretty much makes the program useless now. Every time I try to install an app I get the message there is no connection with no explanation of why there is no connection, even if I go to the add ons own website, the connection is killed by something in the Firefox. I obviously have a connection, I have four other programs running using the same internet connection. Something is seriously wrong.

When i close firefox it does not close the task, the process is still running. I have to manually close it every time with the taskmanager and i have no clue why this is like that. I already repaired firefox but this didnt change anything. Im not sure if this is a Windows problem or a Firefox problem but i think its Firefox because this error occur on a Windows 7 and a Windows 10 System.

Windows 8.1 and FF 66.0.3 First: For some months I have had a problem with downloads bigger then approximately 0.25 GB crashing/failing in the last few seconds of a download. I have unsuccessfully tried many google searches/solutions. I have now resorted to using a different browser for all my downloads (currently I am trying Vivaldi). This problem occurs on all of our windows and Mate 18.04 computers.

Second: I see this issue has been reported, all extensions in windows are disabled! This is only happening in the FF-windows configuration, the extensions all work in Mate and they are currently working in the windows machines using the WaterFox browser.

Tonight, after updating FF yesterday, there is a message that it has disabled my Kaspersky antivirus due to inadequate "signing". It is the free version of KIS. If I buy KIS, will it work? I will not use a browser that I cannot use KIS on. Don't make me choose, FF. You'll lose!

I was able to Boockmark this page and select where to put it (folder), Ffox 66.0.3 has stopped doing that it just drops it any where and it takes me a long time to find it as I have many bookmarks.

I don't want to see the Recent History when I click on the Bookmarks Icon. I'm trying to remove it and am not successful. BTW, I'm using an HP laptop, Windows 10.

If you change it to Bookmarks, I've got my fingers crossed that Firefox will remember that going forward so you don't have to change it every time. "

I could not find anything that let me change the contents of the sidebar.

I'm hoping someone can show me what to do with screenshots along the way because I may not be in the right "sidebar." It's very frustrating and actually it's not for me but for my husband who is super sensitive to clutter and wants just the basics.

I have PC's in different contexts; at work, personal (in bedroom), open access for family and friends, stream on TV... I do not want all my passwords resident on all machines (i.e. Amazon on the open PC). It is not allowed for me to have work-related passwords on a personal machine. Can I select which passwords sync?

Since updating to version 66.0.1, I keep getting signed out of accounts. I have been signed out from bank accounts websites, email accounts and various periodicals I subscribe to. It's happened on numerous occasions. I am able to sign back into them without any issues but it's a nuisance especially when I go to check email.

When I click on the x at the last tab on the far right of the tabs, Firefox closes the program or shrinks it. How do I close the far right tab only?
