Got a pic over to gmail, but only two options for enlargement. Tried to get my pic over to "media" and that worked. Checked all the things you can do on mozilla. Tried to click "allow" on "Use a camera". Nothing happened. Help!

Hello, I started a thread three months ago, and a solution still hasn't been found. I just stopped receiving replies to my questions. Is there any other way to get help? I can get the star in a bucket sign and the cog and most visited at the left side but nothing else I previously used to just right click in the toolbar and create a new folder and it would stay there or I could add the bookmarked page to the toolbar this is a new pc and managed to move my bookmarks across

4 more crashes today after 2 yesterday. will send the error messages upon request. I have reported this before. I thought it might have gotten better as only two crashes yesterday but today after around four got bonkers again. Please help me / Could it be I have an avast blocker for ads and such running. Could this be the problem? Got rid of a full time running Malwarebytes and updated as much as I could except for motherboard drivers which I can not do. Might just have to jump shop as this interferes with doing my Amazon Mturk work. Might have to join the evil empire and go to chrome of all else fails and really do not want to. Any further advice might help. This all started with the new updates about 8 or 9 days ago.

I purchased a new laptop. I exported bookmarks to an html file on my desktop and copied them to a thumb drive. I then copied them to my new laptop. I then imported the bookmarks into Firefox on the laptop. They were magically added to the bookmarks on my desktop. It took a long time to delete the extraneous bookmarks.

How do I avoid this?

Hi,

I have some documentation written out in a html document. There's a bunch of images I cannot see anymore in Firefox but I can see in Chrome for example.

The images are src="data:image/png;base64,*" and it used to work.

What I see is that I open the html document and the images appear for a brief moment only to all almost instantly disappear like they are being blocked.

I originally posted "web site viewable" and marked it as solved because I though it was a DNS issue.

That was wrong. The problem is with Firefox. The web site "http://www.flightofthephantom.com/what-is-an-imu" cannot be accessed when using a specific DNS FreeDNS. It however works when I use my ISP's DNS or Google or Quad9.

I know this is a problem with firefox because 1. Safari on the same workstation works for all DNS's 2. I created a new user account on the same machine and Firefox works in that new account for all DNS's

I have another Mac OS el capitain workstation which has the exact same problem. To correct the problem I completely uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox.

I still have Firefox on the original machine with this problem and I would like to know what is the corruption.

I have performed the following to correct the issue but was unsuccessful.

1. Refresh Firefox 2. Cleared Cached ,history and cookies 3. I have reinstalled firefox

What components remain after the above that would prevent operation of a specific web site (I believe there are other sites) via a specific DNS?

Had a problem with a work computer and it got fixed today so I was messing with it and needed to sign into Firefox and I accidentally signed into my home account. I realized it and signed into the work account and now it is all scrambled up. I don't know where anything is and not even sure if it is all there. Some of the bookmarks were the same on both computers. Guess I would have thought that when you sign into each account the bookmarks would just go back to the way they were...apparently not?

I believe that my Username is my email adress (otherwise...where do I find username???) I have the correct password I am taking notice of capital letters

When I ask to resend my username (or password) I do not get an email

I synced my profile, and I retrieved my bookmarks, but I opened my Firefox profile with another version of Firefox, and it erased my bookmarks, and now I can't retrieve my bookmarks from my synced account.

Is there a way for me to get my bookmarks please? Surely it has to be in the database somewhere.

The site https://www.popularwoodworking.com/winshop uses an entry form from secondstreetapp.com. FF will not display it even though I have my ad blocker (ADblock) disabled. Any suggestions?

Firefox 59.0.2 (64-bit) When clicking the 'Page actions' icon in the search field, and selecting 'Email Link...' a Thunderbird email Write box opens as normal. In the past, these email Write boxes had the title of the Firefox page being emailed in the Subject line, and nothing else. Since upgrading to Firefox Quantum, the Subject line now contains the title and the full URL of the Firefox page being emailed. Is there any way to keep Firefox from adding the full URL of the the page being emailed to Thunderbird?
