Dear Anyone Intelligent:

         Despite having written several times to almighty and vaunted Mozilla, I continue to be plagued.  No matter what I do, Firefox 44 will not allow me to set and/or change my “Home Page” for love nor money.  In addition, the advice available on this website is equally worthless.  As I have stated in various correspondence to Mozilla, one may click on “Tools,” followed by “Options,” be taken to “General” and shown the “Home Page” listing buttons for “Use Current Pages,” “Use Bookmark” and “Restore to Default,” but ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for “Save Selection/Change.”

On top of all of this, when I recently popped open Internet Explorer, it took me to my desired “Home Page” for “Hotmail,” while also asking me about the plague website that almighty Mozilla will not let me change, “Would you like to save this page?” Of course, I was able to say “Yes” or “No,” so perhaps Mozilla should talk to Microsoft.

         I will be most grateful and duly appreciative for any and all intelligent and beneficial replies to my problem.

When I open menu and click on add-ons the message appears you have no add ons of this type however Norton add on is working AD Block is working. Reinstalled Ffox and installed add ons after next login add ons disapeared again

I have sensory processing issues, and chronic migraines. Flashing hurts. Animation hurts. Zooming hurts worse, and some browsers trigger instant migraines.

Is there any way to keep things from flashing on mouseover?

I use a comcast email account. After firefox updates it prevents me from sending new emails or reply to emails. I was able to fix this the first time it happened, I think by refreshing the browser. Now that no longer works. I do not have this problem when using my comcast email with the internet explorer browser

OK, never mind. I just found an article that directed me to load the homepage and drag and drop the tab to the home button and it seems to have worked!! Thanks mozilla for making all possible effort to assist your users=))))))

How to restore previous version of firefox to discover if update to 44 version caused youtube video replay addon to stop working. Also downloaded different replayer with same results.

For two years now I have been blighted by the weeklycareerblog as reported by many others, yesterday afternoon I switched my pc on and ran firefox and observed the blog window opening 30 or 40 times before I managed to stop firefox. I eventually found that the problem was due to the english dictionary add on that I have installed, Does anyone know if this addon is malicious? Could it be keyboard logging for example? Finally can anyone advise on a sfa edictionary to use?

I was used to set the security option to allow the memorization of pw to sites. Now even there is a list of old data memorized, is no more possible to activate the flag for this option ???

My.Yahoo.com will not load it worked until yesterday. It does work on chrome and internet explorer with no problem. I have used my yahoo just about forever with no problems. Everything else works and loads perfectly. Can you help me Dennis

This is what comes on when I try to load my yahoo but like I said all other sites work with no problem!!!

The page isn't redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

I use Firefox for internet banking and have done so for many years. Now when I put in the webpage for the bank, Firefox says it will not redirect this page so I cannot go to the bank website to log into ebanking

Sorry to repost, but I don't see any way that I can comment on my original post. There seems to be some misunderstanding to my original question. What I would like is for FireFox to OPEN to the new tabs view, rather than a blank page or a specific URL. When I want to ADD a new tab to FireFox when it is already open, that works exactly like it should. What I want is for the new tab view to be what I see when I LAUNCH FireFox.

In November or December, my university's IM tab no longer showed who is available to chat with. I've just tested it in Chrome where it still works and I can see who is available. Additionally, I tried to upload images on this page to show you what it looks like in Chrome compared to in Firefox, but the browse link shows that it's starting to load the selected image but then it just hangs there even though my image is only 14.5kb...

Using Self-destructing cookies add-on I have Firefox set to remove all cookies on exit/ close: Custom settings for history unchecked: always use...remember my brow...remember search... Accept cookies from sites (with an exception list that works correctly) Accept third-party cookies: never Keep until: I close Firefox Settings: all checked to clear except site preferences.

I had been noticing a very long list 50-100 cookies identified by CC Cleaner as being on my system that Firefox dis not display. So I began using the Self-destructing cookies add on. The app definitively shortened the list.

However, cookies still remain after closing -- per CC cleaner. Some are api.websitename.com others appear to be flash cookies.

Why are they not being removed? Thank you.
