I now have version 3.6.8. Norton Internet Security is now version 17.7.0.12. I hav re-installed Firefox and Norton Internet Security, but it dosent do no good. It works allright with IE. What to do?

When I bring up Firefox, it starts a message "Downloading the latest applications", but it never finishes and starts up again each time I open Firefox

Where is the best place for suggesting/requesting features? If something like this already exists, please let me know. I often wish when I select a word to right click and choose dictionary to to find out the meaning of the word. Currently I have to copy, go to a dictionary web page, paste and search. And I spent a lot of time for that. I'm not that technically oriented to suggest how this can be achieved but just as an idea, may be Mozilla can partner with dictionary web sites by making a plug ins or include a dictionary with Firefox itself

everything else in the world loads fine, but after i updated the other day, Facebook, won't load. this is a problem as i practically live there. subdomains (i.e. TOUCH.facebook.com) but nothing with the root domain. there are no errors or anything (and trust me, it has NOTHING to do with my firewall). it just quickly goes from "tranferring data..." to "done" with a blank result, every time. no matter how many times i refresh or clear the cache. any ideas?

This is not the only program I am having trouble installing. I am running Windows 7 Home Edition on an HP Notebook.

Why has a Firefox upgrade removed the 'persona' I had?! I have no idea where I got the previous one from and do not want to go trawling through 30,000+ to find it!!! Massively unimpressed.

My system runs Windows 7. When Firefox 3.6.6 or 3.6.7 automatically downloads and my system restarts, my Internet connection is severed. I cannot restore it without doing a system-restore to before the new version was installed.

There are numerous themes and personnas to pick from, but they are not managed by Firefox. The chances of acquiring a virus from one of these is probable, so I'm wondering if Mozilla uses a filter for these features.

I have FF set to delete all my info when i close it. passwords, forms, history the whole thing. but for some reason lately i have noticed that after i close it and then run it again and click the pull down for the address bar the link to access my routers web config page is always there. no matter how many times i try to delete it or clean my cache, history etc... it is always in the pull down. i find this odd and don't know how to stop doing this.

 I have 6 tabs set up and have become very accustomed to the position they’re in.  When doing a specific task for my job, a 7th tab opens up.  It has always opened all the way to the right.  When I’m done reading the information it gives me, I just quickly “x” it out to return working.  Yesterday I noticed that this 7th tab was not opening up all the way to the right.  It was opening in the next-to-last position to the right.  This might not seem like a problem, but when I go to close it, I’m so used to x-ing out the one to the far right, that I’ve been x-ing out a tab that I need.

So the question: How can I get the new tab that opens to appear all the way on the right again? Again, this is not adding a new tab. If I add a new tab to search for something, it does open all the way to the right.

My firefox browser is only opening the page to about 10cm deep although it's full screem width. It started doing this about a week ago. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it but it's still too short and I can't drag it to full size, it just pings back. Please help?

I installed Mozilla Firefox as I recently ungraded from Vista to Windows 7. When Firefox installed the home page did not show toolbar with file, edit, bookmarks etc. across the top.

Usually when I'm browsing through random photos, either for work or for leisure, I always middle click them to open a new tab. So again, is there a way to save images from multiple tabs without cycling through each tab, right-clicking, deleting that tab then going to the next? Help is much appreciated.

Firefox 3.6 hangs when I open any website. I tried all the things on the hang page but nothing helps.

I unclicked history in sync options within the firefox sync preferences and reset the sync from my local data. To check this I used firefox home on my ipod touch 2g using ios4, signing out and signing back in(supposed to do a full clear of local data). Everything else updated to reflect changes I had made: the history remained the same. I am using firefox 3.6.6, firefox sync version 1.4.1 on windows 7 home premium.
