Every time I connect my account on another device to sync up, it totally resets extensions and new tab shortcuts on ALL of my devices. It keeps my bookmarks, theme and what extensions are installed, but again all of my new tab shortcuts and my extension are reset, which is a pain in the rear for extensions like NoScript and taking the time to rebuild all of the new tab shortcuts.

Is there any way to set a device as the primary to push out to others or download those settings to avoid having to set them up again?

The logs on desktop in "about:sync-log" show "error-sync-1679324467306.txt"

I believe I have tried absolutely everything there is to try in the help articles and forum here. Both devices are indeed signed into the same account.

Hello, as of this morning, none of the bookmarks I save on my android phone are syncing across to my PC. When I open my PC, I can see that sync is still working (as all open tabs on my phone are showing as open on the Tabs Pickup screen). I can see that several pages I bookmarked yesterday have saved without issue, so this is something that's happened today. I have my PC set to clear history whenever I close the browser, but I've manually cleared all history and cache. I've also manually synced. I've gone into settings and checked that Bookmarks are still selected as one of the things to Sync.

I have gone to about: sync-log and this is what I see:

Hi,

I've imported all bookmarks, login data and everything else from Brave browser to Firefox and I can use Firefox as if I'm using Brave. All my data have been imported. Until here everything is ok, but I switched my pc and started to use Firefox with my Firefox account and enabled sync. Boookmarks and login information that I saved before importing have been synched but the imported data haven't been synched. So I can't use any login info or bookmarks from old Brave.

I've double checked sync options and see that everything that can be synched are checked.

What can I do to fully synchonise my browsers?

This is really not specifically about Firefox Sync or Firefox itself, but I can't find a better match.

 Months ago I changed my email address with Firefox Accounts.  I currently log in with the new email address and I only see the new email address under my account preferences.  But when I add a new device to Firefox Sync, the "Complete Sync Setup" email is going to my old email address, meaning the one I previously used with my Firefox account.
 Can anyone suggest if there is a way to change this or if there is something I am doing wrong?

I have been trying to set up my Note 9 and my computer to sync. I was following instructions and I have no "sync now" menu item. I am logged in and under my email account, I can't even take a screen shot of the menu so this is what is under my email protection dashboard new window new private window restore previous session zoom Edit library logins and passwords add-ons Option Customize Open file save page as Print find in this page more web dev help exit Help hasn't provided any help to this problem. I am also up-to-date with firefox. Has Sync been eliminated? I did notice a lot of other problems when looking for help.

I have lost access to the primary email on my account. I will never be able to get it back, it was a work email address from a previous employer.

I had already registered a secondary email address but it won't let me switch it to primary without confirmation to the current primary address. Is there a way around this issue, or am I stuck with my account set permanently to a dead inbox?
