In Google Docs, my text cursor will randomly bounce backwards on the page if I perform certain actions, such as pressing Tab in a bullet point list to create a subitem, setting the text to italic, or sometimes just clicking the cursor to the end of a document. Sometimes reaching the end of the line is enough to make the cursor jump back to a random position on the line.

I have tried this in a new profile with no addons and the problem persisted. I could not confirm this in Chromium last I tried. (But I swear I remember it happening in Chromium once or twice before) I have confirmed it on my PopOS laptop and my main PC booted into both Linux Mint and Windows 10.

I am running Firefox version 116.0.3 (64-bit).

I am using an outside application (1) that starts another application (2) on my computer. I already have the admin console for (2) open in Firefox. When I activate the application from (1), it sends a command to open up another tab with the exact same URL in Firefox. Its really more of a nuisance than anything, but I would like to make Firefox just defer to the existing tab since the URLs are the same. Not sure if this is possible, but it would be great if it was.

For the last few days I have had a problem that Bing becomes my default search engine. Even when I go to Google.com it will still reroute to Bing. I searched the forums for solutions and none worked. I couldn't even get into Add-ons and Themes. I would just get a blank page.

Resolution: Finally I decided the best way to deal with this is to delete and re-install Firefox. I saved my Bookmarks first. Then I went to install/uninstall and went to uninstall Firefox, but it gave me another option when I hit it to Refresh Firefox. I chose that option and it reset Firefox to all default/original settings. I didn't even have to import Bookmarks as it kept them and 2 of the Add-ons that I use were optioned to reinstall. The only thing I ended up doing was adding the Menu Bar back on and adding a home page button under Customize Toolbar.

This is something i find annoying sometimes, when watching videos on my 2nd monitor im using the main one ofc, so i have all my socials in my 2nd too, but the PiP is always on top, is there a work around for this? and make it play not always on top?

Using MX-21.3_ahs_x64 Wildflower. Since upgrading Firefox to version 116.0.3 all links within www.onlinetvrecorder.com do not work anymore. No messages, no hints what happened, just not working. Vivaldi has the same problem, Chrome works. I have asked in mozillazine, but did not get an answer.

Hi, I have tried to create a google account two times. Each time Firefox didn't save the google account name.

Firefox did save the password though. Just the username is empty. So, the third time I will write down the username.

I know how to create a Google account. Pretty sure it will work. My question is, why is this happening? Am I paranoid thinking Google doesn't like to support Firefox?

2 days ago I lost the ability to copy and paste a foto or image into my whatsapp using firefox. Then tonight I lost the ability to also copy and paste from the google translator to whatsapp using firefox. As much as I hate to I went to my Microsoft Edge browser and both images and copying pasting text worked. So unfortunately it is definitely a firefox browser issue. I hope someone can resolve this soon! So I can return to using firefox. Thanks!

My Firefox was completely not working so according to the Firefox Support page, I uninstall and then re-installed Firefox. It is working fine now except I have none of my bookmarks anymore. I have tried every suggestion that is on the support page and there is NOTHING coming back. The instructions stated that my bookmarks would not be erased if I followed the instructions, which I did. I NEED HELP FINDING ALL OF MY BOOKMARKS!!

Firefox "flashes" 2-3 times when it's launched after update Maybe this is normal and I am just paranoid that something is attached to the browser

When I first open Firefox from my home screen it opens up minimized in the top left corner and I have to click the minimize button and then the un-minimize button to get it to open full screen.

After resetting my Firefox account password, all my saved passwords disappeared. Firefox for iOS has all the passwords but it doesn't sync with the desktop version. firefox [edited] @gmail.com account. How can I roll back to 15.08?

I have had to install a new hard disk. I have installed Firefox and logged into my Firefox account. What I'm missing is the migration of my toolbar, menubar, & bookmarks. What do I need to do.

If you google the problem you get 5 years of answers, most of which no longer work.

Changing layout.css.devPixelsPerPx doesn't work, it changes the entire browser.

My question: Is Mozilla going to add the fix to "Settings" so I can click on it and select a number and go on with my life?

PS I tried asking this question on the Reddit forum for Firefox and you can't.

I accidentally blocked the DrJava website due to not paying strict attention to what I was doing on the screen when using Firefox to go to this site - www.drjava.org. I don't know how to reset my access to this site and this site only. Is there a method I can accomplish that will reset this ONLY blocked site on my Firefox and Dell PC. Thanks in advance.

No matter what website I browse such as bing image, Github, CSDN Blog, etc., firefox always crashes randomly. I uninstalled and reinstalled it and the crash happened again. The crash report IDs are bp-b911c096-525b-4e37-b755-2c5630230818 and bp-937c99d3-7c33-47b3-aac1-c71980230818. I sincerely hope that someone can help me with it, I‘m more than appreciated.
