hello, thanks, mozilla vpn + firefox multi-account containers is very powerful.

i want to be able to open a new tab and force/lock it to use a specific container, no matter what website is opened.

for example, let's day i have firefox configured that: whenever i open 'website.com', it opens in a container named 'website' nothing surprising there.

now i open a new blank tab in a container called 'secret'

here is the behavior, current and desired current: in that tab, if i try to goto 'website.com', the tab's container will change from 'secret' to 'website' desired: in that tab, if i try to goto 'website.com', the tab's container will NOT change to 'website', the container will remain 'secret

I am unable to see some icons of extensions installed in my browser. For example clean web is installed, it is seen among installed extensions but its icon is not seen anywhere in extension icons in menu bar or in total icons.

I have alerts.useSystemBackend set to true, so that notifications received by tabs that send notifications are displayed as system notifications instead, so they won't disappear after a while and instead are displayed in the notification center. I am unable to use the Firefox feature to store a saved credit card. When I attempt to do so I enter all the CC details accordingly, but clicking the "save" button results in no action taken. The cc modal just sits there and nothing happens no matter how many times you click save. Please advise.

Steps to Reproduce: 1) Install Multi-Account Containers add-on 2) Create several different containers 3) Open tabs in each of the different containers 4) Restart Firefox by going to about:profiles and clicking "Restart normally"

Observed behavior: Tabs are not restored to any container upon restart.

Expected behavior: Tabs are restored to the containers with which they were opened.

Other remarks: This poses a security and privacy risk, as information leakage occurs when previously segregated websites are loaded outside of their containers all at once.

Hello, I am a beginner at macOS administration and I found myself in wanting to deploying only one version of Firefox to computers, which will react to language change in macOS.

But I have issue after performing steps from this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/deploying-firefox-language-packs

This changes value of application and after it application can be veryfied by macOS system and after deploying it to another computer it doesn't want to open.

Installed an update today (109.0.1) and this time I am unable to find a way to get to my bookmarks except in a separate window. I've used Firefox many years, didn't like the previous update b/c it changed the location of my bookmarks (no longer automatically shown in leftmost column) and I had to figure out how to get them back, but this time I can't figure out how to show my bookmarks in a column on the Firefox window.

Hello. I would like to download a pamphlet on a site, but I get this message when I try to do so:

"Cannot display form because this domain has not been added for use with Invisible reCAPTCHA. Please add the domain to your form or account domain list."

Is there someone who can assist me with finding the option to add the site to a 'domain' or 'form' list? I would be most appreciative. :) I have searched all over and come up with nothing.

Hello, few days ago I had a problem with a download pop-up everytime I opened Firefox. I cleaned the cache and browsing history but it only stopped after I did Firefox refresh from control panel. And to my actual problem with auto-complete. After I enter a website (e.g. gmail) I have to manually pick this site from suggestions, it never auto-completes. I went through this article and I can say my settings are the same. Any ideas how I fix this? Thanks!

I'm navigating through a large PDF file in Firefox, by using the Document Outline on the sidebar. I see the list of chapters and subchapters, and clicking them sends me to the appropriate part of the document. All of that is fine.

My issue is that when I click one of those links the document's zoom level is reset to 'page width', which is much more zoomed in than I want. I'm having to manually zoom out every time I move around the document, which is pretty regularly.

Is there any way to change this in the settings? I would like the zoom level not to change, or if that's impossible I'd like the 'default' zoom to be something else.

I was making some changes in Firefox's themes today.

But I has lost my previous' themes on new tap, book bar, and search bar in home page.

I preferred the dark themes but now not knowing how and why it wasn't.

On Mac OS is there a way to stop the drop down menu bar from appearing while in full screen whenever you move the mouse to the top of the screen? When I switch between tabs that action is often triggered which is distracting.

While using Bypass Paywalls Clean v3.0.4.0 add-on in Firefox photos in stories will not open. It worked before so I contacted the add-on maker and after the last contact he called me a troll and blocked me. But still the problem happens when a story has photos I use to be able to click on the View icon and the photos would open in a new tab now nothing happens. I am using Firefox 88.0b9 (64-bit) because I do not like the changes the newer versions have and this version works well and has opened the photos before this problem started. I have added a grab of a story with photos to show the View icon. I understand I am cheating by using the Bypass but if I subscribed to all the sites I visit I would go bankrupt. Any help greatly appreciated.

I set browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar false in about:config to stop FireFox making me use the address bar up top.

But now in the search box on the homepage I have this annoying dropdown that says "duckduckgo search" and "change search settings".

How do I disable this annoying dropdown? I just want a search box with no dropdowns.
