Hello. After restoring my previous session in Firefox, I am unable to scroll through my open tabs as the tab bar scroll arrows have disappeared from the tab bar. Is there a way to fix this? I have no extensions/addons/themes installed and even restarted in safe mode, I also fiddled with the toolbars but to no avail. Thanks.

I have noticed since the last update, when I click on a new tab in a window that is older and has about 6 or more, the new location will just spin and not connect. If I open a brand new window, or go to another browser, the location is fine and comes up quickly. I have cleared the cache but I do not want to do this everytime I get into an older browser window. Anyone else see this? This is very definitive and has just started happening.

Hello,

I'm trying to figure out why I lost my pinned tabs I had in Firefox after somehow not being able to sync my bookmarks with the websites I had in the bookmarks toolbar missing then tried restoring them from the bookmarks option. So, I'm not too sure of how I can get them back if possible or something. Thank you in advance if you reply to this.

Recently having problems with very slow running and freezing so performed a refresh. Now I seem to have lost all my tabs that automatically opened when starting Firefox. Can I get them back from the Old Firefox Data folder that the Refresh process created on my Desktop or do I have to start again and remember all 78 tabs that used to be on my Home Page?

For a long time this scenario has worked fine.... I have multiple tabs open, we'll just say A & B. In Tab A I click something I know will generate a pop up on this page in a while, but I manually swap to Tab B to start working on something else. When the pop up appears in Tab A, I can see the text of the tab go bold, and my view remains on Tab B so I can continue as I want.

But now suddenly, when I switch to Tab B, once that pop up appears in Tab A my view is forcibly changed to Tab A instantly. Pretty inconvenient since it interrupts what I'm doing in Tab B.

How can I go back to the original behavior?

In Firefox, when I need to use more than 1 tab at a time - for example filling in an official form, when I have to go to my email to retrieve a code sent, when I go back to find the original form I was working on, it has closed or gone. It is proving impossible for me to fillout out forms on offcial sites or for some services becsue when I leave to go to my email, I have to restart the form filling from the start?!! I would be grateful for an VERY easy to follow, jargon free (assume I am very simple - it's OK, I do not mind) solution. becasue i am unable to work when the site i am working on closes everytime I have to go somewhere elase for info.

One of my uses of Firefox is as a tabbed reader. So I will have arxiv pdfs open, local pdfs etc. I would like to Sync these views across devices. It seems that Sync ignores any local tabs. For example file:////home/me/books/this_great_books.pdf

I suspect this is to avoid syncing settings files. But is there a simple path-based over-ride for this?

Or perhaps another extension would solve this.

This is a really odd issue... I have two Mac user accounts, primary and secondary. When I'm using my secondary Mac user account while my primary account is still logged in in the background (with Firefox open), Firefox in my primary account will start closing my tabs one at a time... roughly one every 10-20 minutes or so.

So if I'm using my secondary account for like half an hour, when I switch back to the primary one, the last 2 or 3 tabs will have been closed. If I'm logged into the secondary account for a few hours and then switch back to the primary, the last 6 or 7 tabs will be closed.

The closed tabs are in my Recently Closed Tabs list and appear to have been closed manually, but obviously weren't because I wasn't even logged in to that user account. It's not an addon issue, and I can't figure out what else could be causing this extremely weird bug. Any ideas???

Hello,

When I am on a certain site, some data in the page are repeated in the title of the tab, and these data are always changing (once per second). These are financial data.

On my work PC with a portable firefox, the tab title is well auto-refreshed, as the data in the page is. But on my home PC, with a classical firefox and a portable version, titles don't update, and the data in the page don't auto-refresh either.

EG : what I want (and have on my work PC) : when there is a 6 in the page, the tab title is 6. One second later, the page shows a 10, the tab title is also a 10. Etc, etc. What I have (on my home PC) : when there is a 6 in the page, the tab title is 6 (the first loading of the page). One second later, nothing has changed. I have to refresh (or reload) the page to have all data in the page updated, and so the tab title.

This is the same firefox configuration from my home PC and my work PC. Even if I disable my extentions, it stays the same: update on my work PC, and nothing on my home PC.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix that problem ? Thanks a lot !

Firefox just updated today, and forced me to select a "theme". As near as I can tell, every theme makes all of my open tabs look like buttons--no outlines at all until I hover my mouse over them.

I'm sure some graphic artist decided that this was snazzy and minimalist and all that. But it really interfered with my workflow, to the point where I'm debating going to Chromium. I want *tabs*. I want a visual reminder that all of these things are open pages running in my background. Making them all look like buttons was ill-advised and (in my opinion) not smart at all. How do I get my tabs back?

Once again, Firefox has gone and turned the Tabs into a Hot Mess of a Tab Bar instead of "Tabs" . I would like my Tabs to be individual Tabs, not one long tab with white wings hanging out (( guess that's supposed to make it look like a "Tab" ). I just got my Home Page to my liking and User Friendly to ME and they go and "EFF" it up AGAIN!!!!

If anyone can assist me in getting my TABS back to Normal and not looking like one big long bar, I would appreciate the help. Prior to this update, they resembled Chrome tabs, Individually divided and rounded corners....Like a TAB!!! Oh and now the Tab BAR is located above the Address Bar without updated instructions on how to move it back above the Tool Bar, where it belongs, on my Home Page. Please give us OPTIONS!

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
