audio stops completely for exactly 0.4 seconds when un-pausing video, this affects any "interruptions" including skipping around, clicking on timestamps and any ohter type. issue stops completely when another youtube tab with a video playing is currently active.

i have tried any regular troubleshooting tips, including any and all forums i've found online to no avail. this is not happening in any other browser.

I cannot get audio to play on the browser. I've gone into settings and the default says that audio should be on for all websites. However, Youtube, facebook, instagram, etc., won't play audio. Audio plays on other browsers (Chrome, Edge). what must I do to get audio working?

My sound does not work when using Firefox. But when I switch to the troubleshooting mode in the "Help" menu, the sound works normally. I did not make any changes to sound settings. Sound was fine last night and did not work when I woke the computer up this morning. I am using Windows 11. Going from troubleshooting mode back to normal mode causes the sound to stop working again.

Tell me why I have no sound on Firefox and how to fix it. I do have sound on DuckDuckGo and AVG Secure Browser. I have checked my sound setting 55% and not muted. I have shut down and started laptop, still no sound. I checked Firefox updates and am good.

subtitles appearing on all YouTube content, even though subtitles turned off. I have toggled the cc button and also subtitles in settings with no luck. The cc box does work to turn subtitles in not YouTube videos.

why do videos opened in new tabs have an audio delay before the sound comes on? this is a recent phenomenon. So, when I right click a video and click 'open in new tab' when the video starts the audio is delayed 2 to 3 seconds. normally there is no audio lag. this has been happening for perhaps two weeks now. is it related to a setting? I recently adjusted the security and privacy settings.

The sound works for me on Opera (PC Win11), but not on Mozilla - I see it as a bug in the browser... even after clicking on the playback device in the bottom right corner in Mozilla, the sound doesn't start playing...

I was receiving Directv content on Mozilla Firefox for months without issue. Suddenly it stopped completely and left a message "We couldn't play this content at this time". I don't understand why this happened or how to fix it. I want to do all my browsing with Mozilla Firefox so I need help. It would be truly excellent if I could speak to a human about this issue. Please.

After a Windows 11 update my Firefox browser no longer has any audio. The sound is turned all the way up in the Sound Mixer and I have no Bluetooth devices connected. After it initially happened I connected my Bluetooth earbuds and it worked for a few minutes before it too lost audio.

I have audio on all my other applications.

Suddenly no audio when using Firefox. Only setting I can find says audio is allowed from all websites. There are no websites listed on that settings page. Audio works fine using other browsers. Any thoughts?

Hello there.

Since last update i'm unable to browse websites like youtube, social media and all other websites with video content. Video often fails to load,the wholewebsite is not loading, freezes while played or while exiting full screen mode. All of these freezes the browser - the site cannot be refreshed, links does not work. The only way is to close the tab with the freezed page or kill the Firefox process in windows Task Manager. Refreshing, re-installing, deleting or using different profile don't work. Same with add-ons. Seems like the issue lies within the browser and it started to appear since last update.

Unable to play a video on Hulu with my own Hulu account, which I have had no issues in the past doing, even with all my ad blockers and trackers enabled (Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin, AdBlocker Ultimate, Ghostery, and Malwarebytes). I have tried disabling all of the above extensions, refreshing the website and still no luck. I have also followed the instructions Hulu guides me to via a link on the screen (see attached screenshot) to their help page https://help.hulu.com/article/hulu-power-cycle?utm_source=hulu&utm_medium=error-message&utm_campaign=video-02 None of these have helped either. My internet speed is fine, I checked it through 3 different internet speed testers to verify Also checked my Wifi signal through our Google Home portal. I've searched online for solutions and haven't found anything new to help or in the Mozilla Support forum. My computer/laptop is up to date on all updates and software. Appreciate any support, thank you!
