I've got constant crashes jn last update Firefox 148.0.2 (Desktop). Often it happens when Google Meets launched in browser and i started switch between tabs or another applications. my firefox keep crashing when i join google meet and i need to do multitask so i open another firefox windows(private or not) it always crash few second after, i have tried the trouble shoot mode its still crashing, even the new windows from SSO request do trigger my firefox to crash. when the browser crash it does offer me to restore my session

I am running Firefox 151.0.4 on a Win 11 (25H2) AMD Ryzen 5, 32 GB ram. Every time I close Firefox, it generates a crash report. That takes several minutes during which I can't start a new Firefox window. The crash report says the report was submitted successfully but when I look in about:crashes the reports shows they need to be submitted.

I ran in troubleshoot mode and disabled all plugins and did not see any extensions listed. I restarted and it still crashes. Firefox seems to run fine. But the crashes when it closes are annoying and disruptive.

Hello everyone,

yesterday I got quite a scare. While Firefox was open, a new tab briefly appeared showing the page about:processes, and immediately afterwards the browser closed itself on its own.

At the same time, Chrome was open in the background. When I clicked on Chrome, a prompt appeared asking whether I wanted to allow changes to be made to the system (the typical UAC prompt). However, I’m not entirely sure if this was actually triggered by Chrome or possibly by another application.

I clicked “No” on the UAC prompt and immediately unplugged my keyboard. I recently started using an ASUS ROG Falcata, which is connected via USB.

After that, I ran a virus scan with Windows Defender — it didn’t find anything. I also ran AdwCleaner, which also came up clean.

At first, I suspected the ASUS ROG Falcata (I’ve only been using it for a few days), since it’s almost like a small computer itself and can execute macros, patterns, etc. I was worried about a possible firmware bug or something worse. At the moment, I’m honestly hesitant to plug it back in and am using an old Dell keyboard instead.

Importantly, I wasn’t pressing any keys at the time of the incident.

Now I’m quite unsure what could have caused this.

Is there any way to trace this in Firefox (e.g., via logs)?

And is there any (event) log where I could check what triggered the UAC prompt?

One more thing I noticed: I shut down the PC afterward and turned it back on later that evening. Everything booted normally and is still running fine today. However, Firefox updated itself yesterday from version 148.2 to 149. Maybe that was somehow related (though there’s no indication in the Firefox update history that anything failed or similar).

I have just reinstalled Windows 10 and now I cannot see my old firex=ox history from prior to the reinstall of Windows 10 Is there a solution and also i downloaded firefox and now every tab crashes immediately

Okay. So I downloaded Firefox on my chromebook from flathub, but it keeps crashing. I open a new tab: it crashes. I close a tab: it crashes. I don't open or close anything: it crashes. I don't touch anything: it crashes.

I've says that either my theme or one of my add-ons is causing the crashes but I removed my theme and it still crashes and I can't remove any add-on because it crashes if I try to open a new tab.

Now, did/does anyone else have this problem or am I just stupid and missing a very obvious thing.

Since the 152.0 update I've experienced near nonstop browser crashing, it crashed twice as I was trying to type up and submit this message,

Is this a known issue or solely on my end? running 64 bit, windows 10

why im cant set www.http//firefox for home page.??why we have to re store evetime when we washing a movie,,,then they automatic to ture off ?are they have any shearch with out of the google ?

Firefox keeps shutting down and it will open up when I tap on the icon. I have to reload it to make it work, It seems like I have to do this everytime I shut the pc.
