bold textI downloaded fire fox but don't see it listed with my other browsers, why? i downloaded fire fox but it's not listed among my browsers, why?

On my home screen, the visited sites are all crammed to one side, lower left, and all narrow in their appearance. I prefer they look as they did before, with the "tabs" or site boxes along the bottom of my regular sites. And I can't seem to "delete" the sites I visit; I can only dismiss them. And that often doesn't work as well either.

This has happened randomly on several different computers, both windows and ubuntu linux. It just now happened on my Win 11 computer. Was viewing the CNN news site and FF suddenly closed, without a "FF crashed..." message.When I clicked the icon to reopen it, it came up with the home page group of tabs instead of reopening the windows and tabs that were opened when it crashed. Worse, none of the previous months of history shows up and recently closed tabs and windows are both greyed out.

Is there a way of recovering the history of what I was working on at the time of the crash and what the hell is causing this? I am close to dumping FF and going with something else as this is highly annoying.

When I click on the star icon in the address bar the star icon is filled in, and existing bookmarks show with the filled-in star icon. But I no longer get a dropdown where I can edit, tag, or delete an existing bookmark, and URLs I click on don't show up in Recently Bookmarked so they haven't been added.

The places.sqlite file in my profile is not read-only, and I restarted Firefox (stupidly, before I took a screenshot of the pinned shortcuts on my new tabs page) and that made no difference.

I have about 19 jillion saved addresses in autofill. I know how to delete individual addresses, but I'd like to know if there's a way to select multiple entries or to delete all of them in a single operation.

На на сайте поддержки Mozzila не нашел, ни интернет не подсказал. Я понимаю, что это автозапуск Firefox при запуске Windows. Но что конкретно делает данный параметр?

A radio station https://www.wfmt.com/schedule/ that has run successfully until today in Firefox no longer does, There is momentary blip of sound but then silence. It runs fine in Chrome. Another station continues to run successfully in Firefox

I am using Win 11, Microsoft Powertoys > Fancy Zones to manage the screen space on my 5120 x 1440 monitor. I also have System > Display > Multiple Displayers "Remember window locations based on monitor connection" enabled.

Any program I have besides FF will load up exactly where I had it last. FF shifts I am guessing 8 pixels to the right (or left, as this occurs if I close FF on the right side of the monitor.) If you look at the screenshots, the "opened at default" picture shows what FF looks like when I open it. You can see the xulstore.json file shows the screenX position is -8. If I manually type in 0, close out FF and reopen it, it will still shift back to the right a bit even with the .json still saying 0

How do I do one less thing when I turn the pc on and have FF open exactly as far left as possible instead of shifting over to the right?

since v150 came out ive been having an issue where i get a flash of white on start up if i have Homepage and new windows as Firefox home with a wallpaper... i have re-installed firefox and tested it as default and it still happens. seems the wallpapers have a delay till it displays properly.

I've done recent updates (May 2026) and after having 3 updates in recent months, I still have difficulties with my video programs (both Zoom and "One-click) slowing down during my work which is 100% virtual. How can I revert to an earlier version where this was resolved, please!!??

help me restore my open windows. this has also happened a couple times before and its very frustrating when i have tabs open to read/refer to later or am in the process of reading and then i have to try and find them all again.

Recently passkey function stopped working for Roboform which requires entering password for each login event. Roboform support indicates the issue is being caused be Firefox function. Please advise on this issue. Thanks,

I use Firefox frequently as it is the most useful browser I have. I want to keep a clean desktop and do not have icons on my desktop. Every time Firefox updates, it places an icon on my desktop. I do not want it there and delete it. It is very, very annoying to have to delete every time there is an update. How can I keep that from putting it on my desktop? If the thinking is that if it gets put there, I will use it, that will be what keeps me from using it. If I cannot find a way to stop it, I will remove the program altogether and figure out a way to do the things I currently do with Firefox. Please let me know how to accomplish keeping my desktop clean.
