Why can't anyone fix this issue? Every day I have to go to about:config, enter "mica" then change from false to true or true to false to get these buttons to show up. It's ridiculous. I am currently using Firefox version 146.1 on Windows 11. Also, please note if I change the windows widget to true these buttons show up and are usable. The next days I have to change the windows widget to false and they show up and are usable so they work whether or not the widget is set to true or false. The problem is having to change the setting DAILY. I should not be having to do this.

I had to do a new install of Windows 11 and logged back into Firefox and can't find my old bookmarks. I got to this point and don't know how to retrieve old bookmarks:

when i login my google account on firefox they say this browser is not try another browser. and if you already use supportive browser then try again and if click on try again and try it they still show me same statement.

I am getting the following error message when using Firefox. The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem. I cannot see my bookmarks or add new ones. I followed the directions in articles about this problem and they did not. help. I decided to uninstall Firefox and l re-installed it from scratch and i still get the same error message.

Since the last update, Gmail has not been working correctly on Firefox. All of the buttons to the left of inbox emails that enable you to move, categorize, file, etc your emails have disappeared. I have tested my Gmail account on Chrome, Edge and DuckDuckGo browsers, and everything displays correctly. Please help. An image of the missing buttons is attached (well, since there aren't there, you're seeing a blank area of gray to the immediate left of my inbox [or any other folder] emails). I cannot sign into my att/yahoo email while using Firefox. After calling AT&T they told me to use Microsoft Edge which I told them I would not! When trying to sign in I receive the error message "It's not you, It's us" try again. It is my belief that att is trying to coerce me to change browsers so they can spy on me

How to search for installed (both enabled and disabled) addons extensions in Firefox browser like chrome does via "chrome://extensions/" in 2025?

It is quite surprising that in 2024-25, firefox still doesnt have any option to search for installed addons via "about:addons". You can only search for addon site, not for those installed on your device and profile and browser.

Is firefox team really updating their browser for 2025 when compared to chrome?
