Hello,

since today the Addons "uBlockOrigin" and "Ghostery" are not anymore working in Firefox. In Chrome all works fine.

When i load a YT-Video, i got an Ad, the Video is black, i see nothing but i hear the ad. This is since today and i never encountered that.

Someone can help me with that?

when i try to use my banking app the payment section shows page not found. bank chat person said it was extensions in my browser. i downloaded firefox , i guess it has extensions too. can i disable the extension or extensions that cause this and which ones do this

I have an email account blocked (jgcaller129@gmail.com) and have tried the sync tab at the top corner of my computer. It sends a message with a number to this blocked email to unblock it- how am I supposed to get an email from you on a blocked account. How do I unblock this account. I have tried several times with the same result now the icon to sync isn't there anymore. PLEASE HELP This email is very important to me. You can send a reply to an alternate email account (also linked to Firefox -jgcaller15@gmail.com).

Directv streaming has been operational since I signed up a few weeks ago until today using FireFox browser except today. After signing into Directv , the channels display correctly but will not open for viewing. Need guidance on the fix.

Transferred everything to a new computer (Windows 11). All my bookmarks transferred just fine but the little logos are all gone and every bookmark has only the little "globe" logo. How can I get back all the individual logos? Thanks, Len

I keep getting alerts that my computer is infected with viruses and to go to a site called antiplus.co.in to fix the problem... is that legitimate? McAfee does not find any viruses when I perform a scan....

A strange thing has just occurred in the past two days -- Firefox will no longer drag and drop URLs to form a shortcut on the desktop; I get only the international "can't do that" symbol, the circle with a slash, as I drag.

When I make a shortcut within firefox, then copy it and paste to the desktop, instead of the FF icon, I get the blank sheet, but when I look at the file with Notebook, it shows all the expected content:

Same deal with shortcuts that once did work; they are now inactive. However, when dragged onto FF or Chrome, they magically link up as they ought to.

I've googled for answers, but found nothing worthwhile. One suggestion was to shift the default browser to something else. I chose Google Chrome. Did no good. The shortcuts remained inactive. I could drag and drop from Chrome to the desktop but the shortcuts were still of a white sheet and inactive.

So, I'm suspecting something in Windows needs to be reset, but what? Can't find anything about where and how url shortcuts are treated in the registry. It's an annoyance. Any help greatly appreciated.

I had issues with my computer which got me into a situation where i had to delete all partitions of my drives, starting from 0. Signing in my firefox account in a fresh win install suddenly recovers NOTHING and i am now panicking as i had very important accounts & passwords, bookmarks, tabs, extensions, etc. I have tried other devices too without any luck. I need help recovering all these asap.

When I go to google search on Firefox and search for something in images, every result loads instantly. When I go to duck duck go in firefox, there is randomly huge communication lag time between pressing enter and a result populating (usually more than 30seconds-2min where normally it is instant) and a good majority of the image thumbnail results do not display. It didn't used to do this and I think something screwed something up on my computer. What can cause this?

Things I have tried: Resetting Firefox Deleting and Reinstalling Firefox Deleting all cache/cookies/Mozilla files in %appdata, program files, and other locations and reinstalling.

I prefer to use DDG over Google. Can someone help? Why is it doing this?

I need to know how to stop the tool bar from popping down whenever my mouse hits the top of the screen in fullscreen with hide toolbars selected, no other browser I have used does this so I dont know if it is intentional but if it is please tell me how to make it go away, thank you.

Hi, I have just returned from China. I use a Macbook Pro and am operating Firefox 118.0.2 (64-bit) I now find that when I use Firefox to access websites blocked in China (i.e google, the Guardian) I get a "Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue" message. I can access everything with a VPN active I also got this for Microsoft Edge but the problem resolved by clearing cookies (didn't work for firefox) How can I fix this

Since the update to version 118.02 FF, the downloads now end up in the folder C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp instead of the 'Downloads' folder as indicated in Settings - General (see attachment)

My firefox browser freezes completely and stops PC from working. Current remedy is to use another browser having switched off and re-booted PC. Any thoughts as this has started happening frollowing update to version 118

the color layers have shifted during the playing of videos, mainly youtube. This started a couple of months ago. There is a green line on the bottom of the screen and a definite shift in the colors on everything.

Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a Firefox account with email1. 2. Add a secondary email2. 3. Make email2 primary. 4. Delete email1.

Expected behavior: no trace of email1.

Actual behavior: when you try to log on to firefox account with email1, it remembers this, and says to enter the primary email to log in. a la https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1388872

When firefox emails me that firefox accounts are becoming mozilla accounts, they email the DELETED email1! This is incredibly frustrating!

I maintain the website for a small dog club and use Wordpress with plug-ins to provide page flipping through pdf files in a members only area of the site. The plug-in is D-flip. I have attached .jpg files made using the Fireshot extension both FF and Chrome browsers. I also saved the page as an .htm format file which when displayed does not appear the same as the original page.

My computer needed to be updated so I click on update without closing any programs because the computer usually does it. At this time I was in the School Library well the update was completed so I open up Firefox usually when i open firefox after a shutdown or some other reason. I can go to Open Application Menu>History>RestorePreviousSession but before I clicked on Restore Previous Session I realize that I need to go to class, so I closed my computer. once in class I open my computer up and I try to restore my previous session but by the time that I tried to restore it my session was deleted and my question is if anyone at FIREFOX can help restore that deleted session because I was working on my research project which is due this week, and in that particular session I had tabs open that I need so i can finish my project. Every time firefox has updated this year it prevents me from signing into my Navy federal credit union account. I get the following error message; Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://signon.navyfederal.org/siteminderagent/forms/mfa.fcc" on this server.

I have had to turn off the ad blockers in the past and delete all the history including sign ins to get it to work again. This update I again went through all of that and also tried turning off every extension, turning off firefox tracking blocker and even reset the network setting to no proxy. Nothing works. Will I have to go back to using the google spyware browser just so I can do my banking? Or can this problem finally be fixed? If firefox worked with NFCU forten years prior without any difficulty I don't know why it cant be fixed.
