Hello there.

Ive got a prblem with the borders of the browser. As on the picture there are whit borders, also in full screen.

Can somebody help to remove the borders, so the browser can be real full screen?

I have been using Firefox for many years now and it uses Google, but for the past week or so when I have typed in my search it automatically switches it to BING search. I have checked all my settings and programs but BING is not listed, so why the automatic change over, and how can I fix the problem?

hi, i have a windows eight laptop and i have downloaded firefox, i also have chrome as well as IE10. After installing firefox i wanted to add the extension SEO for firefox. i installed and it clearly says its enabled but i see no trace of it along side my searches.

What could the problem be, i had this extension on my old desktop and it worked fine.

We had to download Firefox once we had installed Windows 8. Although we now have a Firefox tile on the new Windows desktop, to enable access to Firefox, whenever we click on it to go to Firefox, we get the option to select Firefox as our default browser. Whether we say Yes or No, the screen then locks up and we have to use Control, Alt and Delete to close it.

I moved user profile folders to my retail copy of Win8. My startups (I start TBird when the system starts) imported - and amazingly Thunderbird started up from the startups even though I hadn't installed it.

Then I installed Firefox, and it immediately booted up and asked if I wanted to restore my previous session! There was no previous session in the Retail - but it was the session from my copy of the Release Preview.

My questions are

"Is this a feature of Mozilla products, or a happy byproduct of storing program info/settings/etc in the AppData folders?"

"Will I lose my info if I remove the old hard drive with the Release Preview - or is everything stored in the AppData folders?"

There is some mention in the forums - but most of it is quite old - and in the support page you cannot sort by date - and I don't intend to read through 1,000 entries to find the one I want!

What is UNACCEPTABLE is the lack of clear information in a PROMINENT position at the front of the site.

I have just bought a new Laptop PC and could not get Windows 7 - I had to take Windows 8. Every PC in PC WORLD is now loaded with Windows 8 - and the Mozilla site doesn't even mention it!! And Windows 8 has been out for 5 months.

Is everyone asleep at Mozilla?

Clear information might stop your (ex?) customers getting mad at you.

Firefox works okay but I notice it slow down an lag. When I go on Pandora an play music it'll work fine but once I start opening other tabs it will start lagging the music. This doesn't happen on Internet Explorer. If I play a video YouTube in HD I sometimes have to let it load all the way up or it'll start lagging. I have none of these issues on Internet Explorer. What can I do to fix this?

When I check for update in Firefox 18.0.2 it is showing that Firefox is Up to date. However, the latest version is 19.0. After a little googling I found an addon Httpfox which shown me the URL firefox is requesting to check the updates. It is

This is giving a XML with empty update tags

However, if I change Windows version from 6.2.0.0 to 6.1.0.0 like this,

it is showing some update related xml.

Is the manual download and install is the only solution I've left with now?

Latest version of Firefox freezes solid on load. 14.01 fixes the problem. Reinstalled 19.02 and problem reappeared. Disabling Norton Firewall temporarily did not fix the problem. Reinstalled 14.01 a second time and problem went away again. Running Win 8 on a Toshiba Satellite laptop.

When I open Zynga.com I get repeated log in messages. When I click them , they disappear and then come back. I have contacted zynga and reloaded facebook Neither helped.

These two websites open on re-boot, or when I'm idle on firefox.

How do I fix this issue?

My virgin e-mail only shows on half a page and I want to get rid of space aboove so it will show more. How can I do this. Found one possible way by using Adblock plus? Can you advise what steps I need to do to help solve issue?

I'm not able to pick an item from a 'dropdown' list of choices. The list flashes on and off so quickly that it doesn't pause long enough to make a selection or it doesn't show the dropdown list at all. This was not an issue for me before FF 19.

I'm running Windows 8.
