131 installed. I now cannot read article in newspaper I subscribe to on line. Click 'read more 'and get warning notice pop up that I need to disable ad blocker or have no internet connectivity. Does not happen on Safari so not the newspaper or my Mac or the internet connection. Did happen trying to reach my bank account also. Did not happen before new version. I do not want to use SAFARI. IS this a bug in program? Is this because a few weeks ago I set no tracking feature and no selling data? Those seemed to have slowed performance but did not cause alert message preventing access. As elderly person, this is frustrating and scary and upsetting. Help appreciated. Wish Firefox had a place where users like me could list this sort of problem so we could feel like Firefox knew what we were experiencing when new version happens.. Win 10.0.19045 , Firefox 131.0. For the last week or so Firefox has crashed out several times a day. What has changed to make this happen, and how can it be prevented?

The task bars on the top keep disappearing from my screen whenever I move my mouse away from hovering over them, I want to know how to stop and to keep them constantly on the screen at all times.

Since today there is a severely unwanted feature included in firefox: the list all tabs button. It is ugly, bloated and gets in the way. There does not seem to be a reasonable way to remove this "feature".

I find the inclusion exceedingly intrusive and grating. How do I roll back to a previous version of FF? I was quite happy with my minimalist bars and this button takes up an excessive amount of space without providing ANY useful function. Preferably I would be allowed to remove the button entirely, but until then I would like to look at a UI that doesn't take up excessive space for no reason.

Focusing on making my experience with Firefox worse is not a winning move.

I have reinstalled Firefox on my Mac many times, completely removed all files using app cleaner, and reset Firefox by holding shift and option on start. Despite this, the app is very slow to launch, and when it does no pages load or render. Opening a new tab freezes the entire app for 15-30 seconds, and when the tab opens it is completely blank. Attempting to browse to a URL does nothing, and the address bar just returns to being empty. Attempting to open settings does nothing, although parts of the app that open separate windows such as the about version info and bookmarks work fine. The only thing I haven't done at this point is completely reinstalling macOS, so maybe there is something wrong with my system config. I first noticed this issue when using the early macOS Sequoia betas, and assumed the app wasn't updated to support it yet. However after updating macOS and completely removing and reinstalling all traces of Firefox, it still doesn't work. I am currently using macOS 15.1 beta, however the issue also persisted on 15.0.

For the past 2 weeks Firefox has been repeatedly crashing soon after going on to certain sites or trying to apply my 2FA authenticator add-on.

Suddenly there's a screen shudder and a new window opens, inviting me to submit a crash report. See attached image.

I do not believe that this is down to Ubuntu 24.04 upgrade done at end of August.

But it's enough for me to largely go over to Chromium and Firefox Dev Ed.

If Mozilla don't act on this crashing I can see its market being lost fairly fast.

I am suddenly getting the following error message on the website of my bank:

An error occurred during a connection to [my bank's website]. Peer’s Certificate has been revoked.

Error code: SEC_ERROR_REVOKED_CERTIFICATE

This has never happened before, but now I have suddenly lost access to my account. My wife is able to access the website on her cell phone, so I'm sure the bank's certificate has not been revoked.

If you can tell me how to tweak Firefox to get around this, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I installed various extensions that were always visible on the Firefox page but suddenly they disappeared and cannot get any to show. Firefox is up to date, extensions have been disabled and then enabled, and removed and reinstalled.

How do you set up two separate bookmark files? I want to be able to use separate bookmark files for two different people using the same PC and be able to switch between them depending who is using the PC.

I've always had an informative single line "bar" at the base of my screen indicating available/open programs, USBs, etc. I don't know what it's called. I don't know why it disappeared today. And . . . I'd appreciate help it getting it to reappear (and learning the correct terminology.) Although in my 90s, I try to keep up with technology as much as possible. Thanks for your help.

There's one specific field I fill in very often and for some reason Firefox is really keen on suggesting me two searches that I looked up more than a couple months ago, on a totally different site. I can't even remove these suggestions or add new ones. When I used Vivaldi, it'd learn what I insert (even if it'd end up suggesting tens and tens of options), while Firefox doesn't learn at all.

For sake of an example, let's say that the word I use every day in this field is XYZ. Not even once was it suggested to me, I've only ever gotten the two in the screenshot below instead. And I can't remove them using the Delete key as some other article suggested.

What is the resolve?

we have 2 imacs here:

imac A just had OS catalina installed and firefox is shown as up to date running v 115.15. However, while it loads the apple tv website the site remains unresponsive to input.

imac B is runnning OS Sonoma and firefox is shown as up to date running v 130.01. There is no problem with the apple tv site, which responds to input.

So: why can't I update firefox to the latest version on imac A and why is the apple tv website unresponsive when it works on imac B running an older OS?
