I've only just recently had this issue: If I'm not already in full screen mode on my MacBook Air (Ventura 13.3.1), then I can enter and exist YouTube's full screen mode just fine. But if I'm already in full screen mode with the browser, then after going full screen with a YouTube video I can't exit. I can exit the full screen window, but then the video stays in full screen with no menu bar available etc. Instead I have to close Firefox and open again. See the attached image - I can change the size of the window but only the video screen appears. I can still use shortcuts (ctrl+tab) to navigate tabs etc.

The people who asked this question 3 years ago were given a "chosen solution", which didn't work then. And 3 years later the underlying problem is still not fixed. Last week I tried a new solution which meant messing around with the Firefox settings. And it worked - until the next time I restarted the computer.

I copy and paste in many of my activities, which interact with external websites e.g. discussion groups. The current frustration is a discussion about Adobe, which means copying text from one window to another. It does not happen. Unless this is permanently sorted in the next couple of days, regretfully I shall switch to a workable browser, e.g. Chrome. I cannot afford the waste of time repeatedly researching then not fixing a failing feature.

I've always been able to copy & paste text from other places to Whatsapp Web in Firefox Desktop computer before. But starting today, it's not working. It only works when I copy & paste text from Whatsapp Web inside but not from other software like MS office or Slack. It's very frustrating! I wonder if it has something to do with the newest Firefox update. Please fix asap!

I absolutely hate browsing forums for solutions to my problems.

I hate being forced to search FAQ's for questions that nobody asks frequently enough before being able to post something. I appreciate this is necessary to limit multiple threads about the same topic, but it's not the perfect solution.

It doesn't help if the admins of this forum fob off questions with an arrogant answer and close the thread.

I'm looking at you @dropa. Please chill. These people need to talk to each other. Don't just shove potatoes in their mouths send them packing.

I'm not trying to be abrasive, but I've seen this on other forums, it looks like bullying, and it is frustrating and, frankly, it's mean.

Gmail sidebar loads Calendar no error but sidebar empty/clear/white; Calendar only (other sidebar apps eg Tasks or Contacts load fine); Firefox only (other browsers eg Chrome or Edge no problem.

No sound on browser only. None of the listed Firefox troubleshooting steps solved it. My system sounds and media player sound are working but nothing from the browser on any websites. This just started yesterday. Re-setting Firefox did not fix the problem.

When watching something on Youtube and I click on the coloured download icon, I get to be able to click on the title of the video. A blue 1 appears in the download icon. When I click again, then click on the blue 1 to watch the download. Nothing happens. The window just sits there and states 'downloading', but it does not happen. This happened last year and you managed to fix it; now Youtube seem to have blocked downloading again. Geoffrey D Dean, Australia.

Acting on advice provided by the Computer Active magazine I have installed uBlock Origin in order to block adverts. I was advised to stop using Adblock Plus. Adblock plus had an icon which I could click to see if it was working. uBlock Origin doesn't seem to have any visible icon. The add ons manager indicates that uBlock Origin is the only enabled extension, but is it doing any advert blocking? Shouldn't there be a clickable icon?

I am running Firefox-112.0(64bit) on Debian Bullseye. When I pend Firefox I am presented with a blank page rather that my normal sign in page.

Opening a terminal window and starting Firefox with /opt/firefox/firefox generates the following errors:
