Q: Does anyone know if Firefox has maybe re-instated pinch zoom functionality for Mac users?

Or if there is a decent work around available yet?

And if not, anyone have a good answer as to why Firefox overlooked it in their last major update? Seems rather shortsighted to me. Not being able to pinch zoom on my mac trackpad is highly frustrating. It's pretty much a deal breaker, making me want to migrate back to Chrome or elsewhere. Which is sad, because I thought I'd finally escaped Google for browsing.

Hello, I just recently installed FF 82 on my Mac (Catalina) and noticed a weird bug when printing PDF files.

The printed page seems to have extra margins on the Top and left, so some of the info is printed off the page.

My FF version is not using the new print prompt that looks like Chrome's.

1) The document size is Letter 2) Printing with Letter paper selected and scale 100%. 3) Didn't change any margins or other settings. 4) Attached is what I got from the printer.

Is this a bug? Has anyone noticed something similar?

Firefox, latest version, keeps logging me out of sites. I have tried all troubleshooting suggestions offered on the web that I could find, short of starting all over by resetting profile, which I do NOT want to do.

Anyone have any suggestions other than the standard ones about cookies, preference settings having to do with cookies, private browsing, deleting all cookies, deleting cookies files in profile folder, extension issues, etc?

Thank you!

Hi, I have started to use notion.so and they have a nice range of keyboard shortcuts, e.g.

cmd + shift + p

for moving pages :)

Unfortunately this shortcut is already "blocked" by Firefox for opening "New Private Windows".

There is no chance to alter the keyboard-shortcuts on notion, so I wonder if anyone can help me with remapping this one in Firefox to, let's say: cmd + alt + n?

Thank you Sascha

Hi,

I have Firefox installed on my MacBook Air running OS X El Capitan.

Everytime I go to open Firefox I'm met with "Firefox is trying to install a new helper tool. Type your password to allow this".

Is this a bug or is there really something to install every time I log on?

Any help / advice appreciated

I refreshed my browser, and after refreshing it, my passwords and log-ins were NOT imported, and I can't even save the log in information manually. Never had this issue before, and I don't understand what I need to do. I have the "Old Firefox Data" on my desktop, but am totally confused about how to get that information into the refreshed browser. Not being able to re-enter the info, clicking "save", works. Help!

Recently I've been experiencing a weird bug when hovering over tabs (see attached screenshot). This started not too long ago, maybe a month or so. It happens randomly and disappears if I relaunch Firefox. Initially I thought that this only occurred when my computer is connected to an external display, I'm using an old MacBook Pro with an integrated Intel graphics chip. So I figured maybe it was struggling with the resolution of my external monitor. But now it happened without it being connected to the monitor. Has someone experienced this?

My Firefox for MAC 78.4.0esr (64-bit) Browser Window shakes horizontally, uncontrollably, when I click on links in websites. This began just before the last update, and happens more frequently than not, forcing me to abandon the application because I can't close the shaking window. I can't see a specific pattern to which links will cause this to happen, but if I restart Firefox and try the same link, it will repeat the error. My device is a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2.53GHz, Mid 2009), OSX El Capitan V 10.11.6, 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB. This error does not occur in Safari. Firefox is my preferred browser.

Hello!

I'm working on a small game (web-based) and I'm experiencing a very weird error with the new Firefox 82 update.

What I'm experiencing:

1. I can't logout. Every time I go to /logout, FF refreshes the account page. If I do the same thing on Chrome, it works. 2. I post something on the Forum - page refreshes. If I do CMD+SHIFT+R, the post shows up. 3. I can't login. I login, page stays on an AJAX request with loading. I do CMD+SHIFT+R, it logs me in and goes to the account.

This was all previously working fine in FF 81, and everything IS working as expected in Chrome.

I tried in Vanilla FF (without any plugins) and same issue. I disabled all external scripts that could cause this, and nothing is working.
