Hi, The attached image explains the problem in 3 steps. 1. I try to add a bookmark, a pop-up window appears. OK. 2. I get a menu with some recent bookmark folders, but I want a different one, so I press "Choose folder". OK. 3. Now I need to browse among numerous folders in my bookmarks, it worked fine before, but I cannot do it anymore because the folder names are not visible! As if they are written with a white font on a white background. I can scroll, choose (blindly) some folder, which is marked by the faint rectangle visible on the image. And the bookmark will be saved to that folder indeed. But scrolling blindly through my hundred folders is obviously not practical.

The problem appeared 1-2 weeks ago, probably after a FF update. Now I updated FF to the latest version 97.0.1, it doesn't help.

A couple of months ago I did some changes in FF config in particular to make bookmarks appear more dense: newer FF versions introduced huge vertical space between bookmarks. I can't remember what exactly I did (followed some recipe on internet), but it didn't introduce any problems. The problems appeared 1-2 weeks ago. System: Windows 10.

Hi there. When using specifically FaceBook, whenever I click in the text box and start typing, the page suddenly scrolls down so the text input box is almost hidden. I have: Turned off all plugins/addons Tried in Trouble Shoot mode Tried in another browser (Edge) Everything works as expected in Edge - when typing, no matter where the input box is, the page does not scroll/move. When typing in FireFox, as soon as a button is pressed within the cursor in the text input box, the page will scroll down, almost obscuring the box, and it's very annoying as the page should not move when I type, it should stay where it is. Your version 97 update somehow got installed on my computer -- even though I had purposefully DISABLED automatic updates. You have obviously made some very bad choices in update 97 regarding web site display. Now several web sites that I use regularly DO NOT display properly and are hence extremely difficult to use. I have used Firefox for many years and have generally been satisfied with it. But this new and very serious problem with your 97.0.1 version is completely unacceptable.

How can I easily get back to a prior version of Firefox that does display web sites properly, especially without losing all of my settings, cookies, etc?

If easily getting back to a prior version of Firefox is not possible, then I will have no other option but to completely abandon your browser, and instead use Chrome or some other browser that is more stable that Firefox!!

Even your own web site does not work properly as it does not allow me to select the box below to "Email me when someone answers the thread"

On safari: sign in for CCSF works with ID box and PW box. On Firefox: sign in only has ID box and no PW box so I can't sign in. I called IT at the college..they can't figure it out. There must be a formatting issue with FF since it comes up fine on Safari.

In gmail emails, I can see the subject line but not the body. It works fine in my IOS gmail app and in Safari on my macbook, just not in Firefox. Clearing the cache in Firefox didn't solve the problem.

For well over a year, after one of the updates, I cannot access my bank account; however, Google Chrome give easy access. I'm using Firefox 97.0.1. Bottom line: after over 10 years of using Firefox to do my banking, I now have to go to another browser to do it. Is there some kind of solution? Why does Google Chrome work and Firefox does not work?

Letter y is missing, x is replaced by " and the number 9 is replaced by -. This happens on numerous sites. One screen grab is from Wikipedia. This has been going on for at least a year, and makes some websites very hard to read. You already have a page with this problem however it is archived and cannot be added to. The 'solution' on that page involves opening the page inspector and looking at Fonts and then... What??? Is the implication that I temporarily edit the page so it displays correctly? Guess what I'm not a Web Developer - that's your job. This issue ONLY affects Firefox. Safari, Chrome and Brave are all fine, there's clearly a difference in the way fonts are handled between the browsers. Can you tell me if there is a permanent fix for this I have to do, and in the longer term look at the font handling so Firefox works as well as Safari & Chrome. I prefer Firefox to the latter 2 so I'd like to continue using it.

How can I transfer bookmarks from a pc to an iMac? You should have a button to click on that prompts you to put in a thumb drive and it automatically copies bookmarks and you just have to transfer it to the other computer. And why can't you customize bookmarks with different colors and fonts? It would make it easier to find what you're looking for.

Since the Presidents' Day weekend I have been unable to logon to the Fifth Third Bank website from my computer. Several calls to the bank's customer service confirm that many patrons are having the same problem. Today's call elicited that their tech support is still having problems with Firefox, Safari, and other browsers. The website is https://www.53.com and the customer service telephone number is 1-(800) 972-3030. Can the tech people at Firefox/Mozilla find a solution to this problem? Please help. Many customers are in the same boat.

Every once in a while, when I launch Firefox for the first time of the day, two of my add-ons' settings page open.

I have several add-ons but it happens to only these two.

They are:

AdGuard AdBlocker Youtube High Definition.

I know probably a refresh install is likely to solve it but I don't want to resort to that.

I'd appreciate your help.

I am running Firefox Browser 97.01 (64bit) Mozilla Firefox Snap for Ubuntu canonical 002-1.0 on Raspberry Pi Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye) version ID 11.

I am trying to stream various TV services like CTV.ca, CBC.ca, etc. I am getting the following error message: This video file cannot be played.(Error Code: 102630)

I have tried the solutions recommended in the forum with no luck.

What am I missing?

We are trying to embed a linkedin blog post on our website which is hosted on the learnworlds platform. For all other browsers the post visualises correctly but for firefox on mac and windows the images are missing, if we use a private browsing window nothing shows up at all. We have contacted support at Learnworlds and they have told us the following:

"Our development team have advised that this is a general issue with LinkedIn embed-Firefox. I'm afraid that this is not something we can fix. Maybe you could contact Firefox on this issue.

I have tried to upload an image to show the problem but the "add images" below doesn't seem to be working.

For several months now I have had a problem with SOME of my bookmarked pages not loading, because "security certificate" problems, Now NONE of them will load. I was just online 20 minutes ago and the ones that have been working were working. Evidently firefox updated, without permission, and now none of the pages I was at 20 minutes ago will load. This is really starting to piss me off!!!!!!!!!! I have been using firefox since the stone age, as I have felt it to be the best browser out there. Now it looks like I'm gonna havta switch to internet exploder, or chrime, or one of the other crappy browsers out there.

Website with a picture, right-click, save picture as, choosing a directory.... ... and then, normally, if there are already 3 other files in the chosen directory, let's say: house_1.jpg , house_2.jpg , house_3.jpg , and I would start with typing "hou" for a filename, then normally FF would make a "suggestion-list" under the "filename:-box", like: house_1.jpg house_2.jpg house_3.jpg

... and I would be able to click on one of them, and change the name into house_4.jpg.

But, alas, there is no more suggention-list since this afternoon. I can only type a name for the file, and that's it.

Can someon please help me restore this "save-as-suggestion-list" ?

We have a AJAX uploader (Cutewebui) in our site. It was working fine for smaller and larger files. But after upgrading firefox version to 100, it is not working. It is giving error 'html5: the upload task is interrupted'.

For older versions it is working fine.

Please help us to resolve it.

I need to temporarily disconnect one of my computers from my account while it is in for service. I already took it in and realized everything is open and active on that computer, the technician will have full access to all of my accounts and passwords
