Hello can someone please tell me how to stop Firefox from ignoring my settings and updating every time I start my new day. It has forced version 96.0 3 times this week and I cannot use it. They have removed the right click copy and paste for some stupid reason in my opinion. Also they have discontinued certain video downloader apps and do not offer anything to replace them. I have it set to ask first but it doesn't bother and it's really causing me trouble. Not only do I have to waste valuable time uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox but also all my add ons. This is costing me a lot of money because I'm on a metered network. This is not only wrong it is no different than rape and I am very disturbed by this kind of strong arm tactics.If this continues I will be making a formal complaint to the FTC. You may think this is silly but if you do then let me force what I want on you and see how you feel then. I'm asking as politely as I possibly can for Mozilla to act like a responsible and honorable corporation.I have used Firefox for 10 years and until now I would say it's the best browser bar none. I just came home for lunch and now have spent my entire lunch break dealing with this forced rape again. I'm going back to work and when I come home if version 96.0is once again forced on my PC I will need medical attention. Forgive me if anyone thinks that I'm being childish but I can assure you no matter how I'm acting it's fare more professional than what they are. I wipe clean my computer and after the reinstallation and firefox reinstallation and logged in into my account all my browsing history and bookmarks are gone, how can I get my information back?

I use the bookmark bar very heavily and my workflow was to just "drag" the tab with the mouse to folder in the bookmark bar, which would unfold and I drop the tab/bookmark in the desired sub-folder.

This worked really well for me, and was fast.

Recently, this stopped working. I can still drop a bookmark in one of the main folders in the bookmark bar. But not in any sub-folder, since the main folder closes as soon as I move the mouse inside it. It is also not possible anymore to move the already-saved bookmarks around via drag&drop.

System: Linux (Manjaro Gnome 41.1) Firefox for Arch Linux 94.0.2 (64bit)

I have checked against other web browsers and only happens in Mozilla, within the last few weeks. I checked on multiple computers, still having the following problem. I use workspace by go daddy for my online email. I click on compose and the expected window pops to create the email message. When I get to the subject line. every time i use a space bar after typing in a word, the cursor automatically moves to the beginning of the line. This happens each time I type a new word in the subject line. NO other issue in to, cc, bcc, or main message body. This only happens at the end of the subject line. If i type in the middle with characters already on either side, the space bar does not reset.

After creating a new Windows User account and switching back to original account, I lost ALL of my Quick Access Bookmarks! Then I did a Bookmark Restore using the most recent saved Bookmark file and I lost around 64,050 bookmarks!!! Now, the latest saved Bookmark file lists 5 items. This is a ridiculous and a very serious issue!!!

What is going on? I spend a lot of time getting important Bookmarks for research, and etc. How can I get all of my Bookmarks back? Apparently, I cannot get them all back. See attached file.

Unable to install Trend Micro Toolbar extension for Firefox  v. 93.0 & v. 94.0 Encountering being redirected to " Oops! We cannot find that page" when the user clicked "Install Firefox toolbar"...

I have also reported this to Trend Micro and there reply was;

As per our Expert Engineers, Currently, the Trend Micro toolbar for Firefox is still under maintenance. You may encounter being redirected to " Oops! We cannot find that page" when the user clicked "Install Firefox toolbar" They have advised customers to use a different browser temporarily. We are already coordinating with Mozilla Firefox to make it available as soon as possible."

When I have a handful of tabs open, they start scrolling off-screen, despite the fact that there is plenty of room on the tab bar. In fact, tabs never seem to populate the right 50% of the tab bar. I have found plenty of advice about how to set minimum and maximum sizes for the tabs themselves, but that is not my problem. I want to be able to see all of my tabs when there is plenty of room to show them. Any way to solve this?

I inadvertently (Stupidly!) deleted all web browsers on my spare computer. I re-installed Firefox on that computer but still cannot get web access. What can I do?

I use serveral browsers during the week, but Mozilla Firefox is my primary browser. I use to have hundreds of bookmarks in my Firefox Bookmarks, but now I have none. Where did they go and how to I recover them?

I am unable to log onto investor.vanguard.com using Firefox. It has worked fine until last week. I confirmed the username/password are correct (they work fine on my phone app and using the Microsoft browser). I contacted Vanguard and they said they have not had any reported issues on the website.

When I click on the LOGON icon, a blue halo appears around the icon, but I cannot complete the logon. All other icons on the home page work properly on Firefox, but the LOGON does not. Deleting cookies did not help.

Are other Firefox users experiencing this on Vanguard, and if so, is there a fix?

Firefox on my Win 10 desktop seems to be saving logins just fine, but Firefox on my linux laptop isn't. Instead of saving the logins I've actually used (manually) to log into a website, it offers me instead the next time I attempt to log into the website a list of some user IDs I've never used on that website. Why is that?! Anybody have any idea why, where saving logins is concerned, my Windows Firefox is working fine, but my linux Firefox is not? Thanks for any insight you can provide.

I do not like the new versions of Firefox.The continual nagging to update is making me look for a better browser.Pleas allow stop nagging. Multiple methods to update are already provided and even novice users know how to use at least one. STOP THE PUSH. PLEASE.What happened to the "NO" option? Business school?

Cannot Login to Vanguard site (https://investor.vanguard.com/home). I was able to login (for years) prior to today. I can login using EDGE.

I keep getting blank images.pages in face book, even in home page. Particularly for items involving plants, sales, purchases, competitions. Plants like Bromeliads, and Adenium, Desert Roses. etc. Sorry I do not know how to add images of this problem.

I really do like the new colors and I switch between them often. What is motivating you to remove them starting with Firefox 96? Do I really have to turn off auto update to make sure I have my favorite Colorway enabled before the update?

You've adopted two common phrases and tried to apply them to Colorways:

1 - "limited time only" - This usually means you just have to acquire it during a limited time window; you don't lose it after the time window has passed.

2 - "limited edition" - This usually means a limited number of people can acquire it.

Based on my understanding, neither phrase applies to your Colorways offering.

Would you please reconsider? Mozilla is one of my year-end charitable contributions; does that give me any more clout? :)

Just installed Win 11 on a new SSD an dam having trouble downloading files. Some come down ok and others not. The attachment shows shows 2 Logitech files. I can download them with Chrome
