We have several internal VMware servers, that use SSL certificate, that were working just fine until a few days ago. Firefox 44.0 and chrome updates installed and suddenly stopped working. I get the same dumb error code "SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER". I few the certificate it looks fine to me ... and it's internal. I add the Security exception same as I did when I first launched this expecting it to go passed this but NO!

Our firewall is now doing the same thing too.

I tried getting in both with IE 10 and it works after adding the exception? Why you guys gotta be like that?

I have the reversion 43 exe downloaded. Now how to I install it? Do I just run it and let it overwrite my current version?

I'm having a problem with copy/paste and want to see if it appeared with the new version of FF, which I think it did.

I can copy from FF to Wordpad. But not to Word. In word the edit...paste is greyed out. When I first start Word the first paste works, but not after that. Doesn't matter if I cntrl-c or rightclick-c or menu-c. It's similar to the other new pasting problems others are reporting, but since it's not to youtube that fix doesn't work. Safe mode didn't fix it, so it's not addons. So next step in testing, see if it appeared when I recently updated. I tried changing some about entries for copy/paste/clipboard to false and false to true but that didn't do anything (and changed each back).

Hi Firefox Support Two add-ons were disabled by Firefox without my doing because of verification. Those two add-ons i have not been able to delete, they are listed as disabled.

My web browser language is in Danish, as you can see on the attached picture.

I initialize either jre-8u740.02 or jre-8u73-windows-i586 Java file from Java download, either online or offline, but installation is not working. After clicking on the files to initialize, there is never a Java Setup window that allows me to go through the installation process. But there looks to be some activity in Task Manager -two processes named Java Platform SE binary running, one shows 3.2mb and sometimes 3.8mb, the other shows 2.3mb and sometimes 2.0mb --but However, when I check Programs and Features, Programs or Control Panel there is no Java file seen, so it has not installed. Verify Java at java.com also indicates that Java is not installed. I have tried installing Java a dozen times. With all addons disabled, with addons and Avast disabled, after refreshing Firefox with no addons; I also tried installing Java 8 (both versions) using IE, but nothing is working. I went through all the suggestions on the Mozilla Help page regarding 'download and use Java plugin for Firefox' but none of them helped. I am using FF44.0.2, and guessing that it is the 32-bit version (though don't know how to verify that). When I tried to download Java8u74 for 64-bit browsers (while using FF browser), Java gave me an error message that I can't use that version of Java with my browser. My laptop is acer 6530 32-bit, running Win8.1 and FF44.0.2.

I accidentally hit the wrong keys trying to switch tabs using Ctrl+Number and somehow the Bookmarks Toolbar and Awesome Bar (is that still its name?) changed their background to the background to currently active tab has (see attached screenshot).

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to reproduce the key combination that did this. Reseting my profile hasn't changed it back either. Does anyone know how to revert this? I find it extremely uneasy on the eyes...

Looks like I stumbled into some online virus that keeps opening arbitrary web pages on the homepage, opens them while I'm browsing the internet, I've done some scans on my laptop and restarted and re-installed Mozilla Firefox but the problem still holds :(

Google is selected for default search engine. Whenever I open a new tab, it opens as Yahoo. I've checked the about:config. There is no browser.newtab.url. There are other browser.newtab files.

I've searched for any extensions - nothing with any searchprotect items or yahoo. I do not see anything in my program listing that indicates that I have any Yahoo products.

This is a fairly new computer (as in a couple of months). How can I make google my search engine for every tab?

Hi there.

I recently got myself into a little bit of trouble by downloading a file containing a ton of malware. While I've managed to get rid of the majority of it some things still aren't right, such as Google detecting a wrong IP address. However, I can't find a malware program that can detect anything that's wrong and I've exhausted trying to detect anything manually.

Now before you start sending me packing to a malware specialist, the reason I come here is because this problem is only happening in Firefox AND it's only affecting Google. When I search using Internet Explorer, it gives me correct IP / location information, but in Firefox, Google detects me from several rotating locations; San Jose CA, Ashburn VA, and Boardman OR. There may be others, but those are the ones I've noticed. Going to another IP detection website gives me the same IP / location detected in IE.

Is there anyone that can tell me where I might go looking in Firefox's data to eliminate this problem?

Hello, For some reason today, my firefox has started automatically closing down without a crash or error message appearing. It does not register as a crash either as it did not appear when I check the crash logs. I have tried in Safe Mode, refreshed Firefox and even uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. Lastly, I tried to unchecked the option of 'Use hardware acceleration when available' but this problem is still persisting.

Anti-virus scan (Kaspersky 2016) hasn't picked up any problems either. The only thing I have done differently today is to delete my temp folders via Disk cleanup but I didn't think this would cause problems with Firefox like this?

I am running Windows 10 and using Firefox 44.0.2.

Any ideas on what the problem may be?

After upgrading to Firefox 44.0.2 fonts on some web pages look blurred and are thinner than should be. It is easy to notice problem comparing this page: https://support.mozilla.org/pl/questions/firefox rendered in FF 44.0.2 with FF 44.0 or with Chrome.

This is the first time i do not see the Download icon button on the toolbar. The downward arrow icon.

Other Firefox user profiles still have it on them.

How to solve this problem?

I cannot open my yahoo. The error is: "The page isn't redirecting properly" I can sign into yahoo, I can access my yahoo account with no problem and can also access yahoo mail. I suspect the problem is yahoo's but, just in case...........

Currently, I am using Windows 10. How can I keep a web page without losing it, when I need to go to open my email to get a code and return to the original web page? I cannot minimize the page. If I minimize, I am returned to the desktop. I cannot go to another site and return. Please Help! Thank you!

I can't use my keyboard (tab key) to navigate websites on Firefox 44.0.2 (mac). For instance, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/products/firefox/basic-browsing-firefox

I have the latest FF version on both my iMac or Macbook Pro, same results.

Every time I download a zip or a rar file it asks me what to do with the file and doesn't give me the option to do this automatically next time, like it did way back before I made the mistake of refreshing firefox. It's driving me nuts to have to click save file every time without being given the option to do this automatically next time. It gives me the option to do this automatically next time when I download an mp3 file, but not zip or rar files. Help please.

Despite doing a refresh of firefox to try and fix this issue .....every time I start firefox it opens with a new tab page as my home page and not what I set my home page as in options. For example Yahoo.com or Google.com. When I start in safe mode everything works like I want.. default home page is displayed. Even if I open additional new browser windows in safe mode it works. If I start the browser with add-ons disabled via the option under Help it works maybe once or twice then the new tab is again displayed as my home page. If I manually disable the 4 add-ons under Tools/add-ons in the browser (McAfee web advisor, Better Privacy, addblockplus and new tab tool bar button) when I restart firefox it reacts the same as I stated above. Any ideas to fix this?
