Prior to a month ago my HP3520 printer would print data similar to what was on the internet screen. Suddenly, the printing changed to about a 4 point type size. This only occurs when I print from the internet. I.e. printing a page I've typed using my Word Perfect program prints the same size i typed it.

For example, on Xfinity when I try to view a video clip in says that is is loading and will stay as loading for an hour or more. I have downloaded and installed the latest Adobe Flash player from Adobe and it still does not load. Another site I am having this problem with is AARP. I contacted them and they stated that the problem was with Firefox and how it is handling the Flash Player. If I use IE things work fine, however, I don't like IE and would prefer Firefox.

I am using Windows 10, and Firefox 43.0.3

Hi,

I'm no able to listen to Google Translator voice translations. My system specs:

Firefox: 43.0.3 OS: GNU+Linux Fedora 23

What I tried: a) Renaming my ~/.mozilla directory; b) 'Refreshing' my FF using the blue 'Refresh Firefox' button on this site.

The translation works seamlessly (in the same system) in Chrome 47.

I never set up a "MASTER" password for Firefox. 4. Firefox recognizes my email for yahoo but not my p/w. 5. The p/w that I have been using for 9 years is not recognized for Firefox. BUT I used it for this forum. 6. Every time I use a p/w I get the message to log in with my Master p/w. I choose cancel. Then continue. 7. How can I reset, hopefully "WITHOUT LOOSING MY FAVORITES"

I recently uninstalled Firefox and downloaded it again. I was having trouble with Firefox and thought it might be corrupted. After a new installation Firefox worked fine. I just got a warning that my network was vulnerable and there was a security patch recommended. I deleted the message and didn't download the patch. I have searched the Mozilla support but can't find any info on the "patch". The question is is the patch recommendation legitimate?

For two days, I cannot access one website on FF. The website is not down. I also pinged it.

I can access via IE.
I did the troubleshooting tips at Tips & Tricks http://sidsuniverse.blogspot.com/2008/10/firefox-cannot-access-internet-other.html, which seems to be VERY comprehensive.

I just installed 43.03 today, Prior to that, I was dealing with two days of- "FF Not Responding." I uninstalled v42 and upon reinstall, I got the notice that the new version was ready for install. Immediately upon opening the new version, I ran into "FF Not Responding" and then it stopped. I am still left with ONE Website being inaccessible. There is no error; it just doesn't load.

What I didn't try was Safe Mode and installing an earlier version (I guess 41 or so). Since I can disable anti-tracking and ad blocking apps (which I DO), then why would I have to try Safe Mode? Disabling all potentially conflicting apps does not make an iota of difference. I'm at the end of my abilities. One website only = no errors; no opening either.

Thank you.

Out of the blue, my about:addons page started becoming depopulated. But as you can see by the attached file, the addons are installed. After a few restarts of Firefox, Firefox behaves as if it's a fresh install, with a tab for every extension asking if I want to install it. I select install/continue, restart, and then repeat. This problem has been going on for months. I have uninstalled, purged, deleted every aspect/file/folder of Firefox, including everything in the appdata folder that has to do with Mozilla (firefox) including the profile folder. I then did a clean install, from a fresh download and then install addons/extensions from Mozilla site only. It doesn't matter if I have one extension install, or all of them, or any particular one, this empty "about:addons" page will be empty.

I have tried with Firefox32 bit and 64bit, and this problem happens with them both. I have scanned for spyware/malware/virus.. nothing. And before someone says something wrong with my computer, this only happens with Firefox. It's not a corrupt profile, as all profiles were deleted prior to fresh install from new download.

It doesn't happen with Cyberfox and it's set up to use the exact same plugins/addons/extensions. I have discussed with with other people I know who experienced the same problem (they ended up switching to different browser, but I would prefer not to do that)

I have never experienced this problem before.

Prior to Firefox 43.0.0 I was experiencing a problem with "tab behavior". When I clicked on "Duplicate Tab" on the Context Menu, the duplicate tab would open in a new page in the same window. Eventually I updated Firefox to its current edition and updated ALL the plug-ins which Firefox indicated needed updating. Still experiencing the problem, I started disabling extensions which were not present prior to this tab issue. It seemed to stop. Briefly

However

This new problem started. Now when I click on an open tab, a random tab will close usually the adjacent tab but not always and this does not always happen. It must be a setting in one of my other extensions but which one and I like the ones I have.

Any help would be appreciated. Let me know what information you need and where to get it.

Thanks, SpecterFan110557

Initial Summary: Clicking on "Duplicate Tab" on the Context Menu would cause the duplicate to open in a new page now clicking on an open tab will randomly close a different tab.

Hello,

Just lately my firefox has started to crash on a daily basis. I have not made any changes, no new plugins, addons etc. I useally dont run more than aboyt 6-7 tabs at a time.

I have followed steps and searched forums trying to fix this, but with no luck. Finally I did a fresh install, but the crash is still recurring at least 1-2 times per day.

Most of the time I dont see when it crashes. Its when I have been away from the computer and get back that I see that firefox has crashed.

I added an image of the crash message, its in swedish but I think you will manage to figure it out.

If more information is needed, just tell me and I will assist with what I can.

Thanks!

Hi, the videos on Tumblr do not play (other websites are fine). The videos work great on Internet Explorer on the same machine. I have consulted and applied the following fixes, to no avail:

(Plugin) -tried Firefox safe mod (issue still present) -Checked all of my plugins (for conflict and/or outdated ones) -Updated Flash player (even tried uninstalling it) -Updated Silverware -Updated Java

(firewall) -Allowed plugin-container.exe in my firewall (Comodo) -Disabled my firewall

(flash) -Disabled the security thing in /windows -Disabled the software amelioration thing

(other) -Updated that service pack (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-video-audio-problems-firefox-windows) -Video card driver up to date -Firefox up to date -not using proxy

I'm quite desperate. In the console, when loading the page, it is said: "All candidate resources failed to load. Media load paused."

website: https://www.shadertoy.com/

It also occurs on any other individual shader page ( as accessed via any of the "Latest contributions" links, or from any external link ), but the popup dialog box error is only : "ERROR in JSON:"

But DOES NOT occur on page : https://www.shadertoy.com/new ( shader loads and functions fine, no errors )

Computer info:

Processor: Intel Core i7 920 2.66GHz (Quad Core)- Overclock 3.59GHz Motherboard: EVGA X58 Micro Edition SLI (Intel X58 Chipset) (Supports SLI or CrossFire) System Memory: 6GB DDR3 1600MHz Video Card: 1x NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT 512MB OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit

Browser info:

32-bit Firefox 43.0.3 Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:43.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/43.0

This has occurred with every Firefox version I've used in the last 6 to 9 months or so since I first found the shadertoy.com site.

The error occurs in both normal mode and safe mode - add-ons disabled. I've disabled add-ons one by one as well, but the error persists.

Additional info:

I've copied the contents of the Browser Console for both the https://www.shadertoy.com/, on which the error occurs, and for the https://www.shadertoy.com/new , on which the error does not occur.

I've also copied settings from about:config which are results of searching on the two phrases, "JSON" and "javascript".

If this information would be helpful, I can add it. Is there additional space available for posting? There wasn't enough space here to include it.

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you, Bill

Hello, today I fiddled a bit with windows 10 to get it performing a bit better and while that was a success my firefox became unuseable in the process since I cannot have the flash player activated anymore.

When I try to go to e.g. an anime site it loads fine but as soon as a flash element is loaded firefox is unresponsive for about a minute and then gives me a single prompt that a script bugged out and if I want to debug/ignore/or stop executing.

I press stop executing and it goes into a loop. Watching the task manager I see more and more adobe flash player.exes open. Usually 2 per instance of "script debugs". Nothing is crashing at all, but it becomes unuseable. I restored basic functionallity by disabling the flashplayer alltogether, which would still be fine if I could still watch videos on fullscreen - which I cannot.

What I tried to resolve the issue: De-installing flash player (I never could deinstall it COMPLETELY since I am on windows 10 it won't let me remove the one in sysWOW64 but for the purpose of firefox it didn't know it was still installed) Re-installing it several times.

Activate/De-Activate hardware acceleration.

Starting in safe mode, setting up a new profile. Nothing helped.

Now unfortunately my "fixing win 10" coincided with the critical update that was delivered out today so I am not sure what exactly is to blame. However I would still like to see what I can do to resolve the issues - whatever can be googled I likely tried already.

If you want additional information just let me know

This is the second time I have had this issue, the first time I had it was several months ago, but it stopped after I did a re-installation of Windows 10 (for other reasons, my upgrade was imperfect). So this is not the first time I've seen this issue, but it is the first time I have seen it since having a perfectly working installation of Windows 10.

I have many icons on my bookmarks bar. I also use separators to group the icons, and having them organized is helpful since I remove the text/title from them and just show the icon (this way I can have many bookmarks on my bar). The problem is that these icons and separators changes places. I began with them in a certain order, and after adding a new bookmark the other day, they are out of order completely. I recognized this issue from the first time it happened, and pessimistically put them back in order. After a random length of time (even leaving the computer idle with the browser running) they always jumble themselves again on their own. I should also note they always go back to the same places (every time the disorganize themselves, they disorganize in the same spots in the same way).

I want to resolve this and have my bookmarks stay where I put them.

Thanks

My PC is a Intel Core i3-2120 with 8GB of memory, HD with 500GB and Windows 10.
