I just got a new PC. On my old Windows 10 PC, many add-ons add useful buttons, for example OneTab which adds a button that closes all tabs and compiles a list of what was there, or Zotero, which lets me send stuff online to my Zotero citation database.

Now on my new Windows 11 PC, even though those add ons are installed and technically functional, I can't find the buttons anywhere. I wanted all that stuff on my toolbar for a reason. All I can find are convoluted keyboard shortcuts. I don't want to use a bunch of stupid keyboard shortcuts when I'm supposed to be able to just push a button for the same functionality.

Where did all my buttons go and how do I put them back? No, they are not in the "customize toolbar" option, and I have checked the options menus for my most important add ons too.

Why can't I sync computer bookmarks to iPhone? I can't get my iPhone to show up on list of connected devices. I've tried everything in Help. I have a Mozilla Account. Running 135.0.1

From the Firefox Start Page on my iPhone (running 18.3.1) . . . the menu in the bottom right hand corner does not give me the option to "Sync and Save Data". This is a roadblock for me! I'm not a computer genius but I'm not completely ignorant. When I was previously using Firefox in Kubuntu 22.04, if I downloaded something I could go to the Downloads icon and click on the download and it would open in the desired application. After a failed upgrade to 24.04 I had to do a reinstall and now in Kubuntu 24.04, if I click on a downloaded file it will always bring up a window with "Open the file link with okular?" and the buttons Cancel and Open Link below. How do I go back to the previous way of it working?

I've noticed that HDR content on YouTube plays at apparently maximum brightness, which is overwhelming. The same video using Google Chrome behaves as expected. For example:

I'm running FF v135.0 and Chrome v133.0.6943.54. When using Chrome, the video brightness matches system brightness settings on my Macbook Pro (running Sequoia 15.3) but when I use FF, the video itself is incredibly bright, as if the white levels have been maxed out. It seems to be a problem with handling the HDR content. Even stranger, it's as if the browser is able to increase my screen brightness itself, but only in the video pane. I doubt that's actually happening, but that's what appears to happen. If I switch to another tab and then back to the video, it takes a few seconds for the video pane to increase extreme levels.

Also, I tried to take a screenshot of it but the screenshot doesn't show the extreme bright levels that I see when I'm using the browser.

After entering verification code from email i receive an error every time i try to login into this account on my PC, i fully cleared browser data several times but it didn't help

Using Firefox 135.0.1 with Mac OS 15.3.1. Sometimes the menus on the left side of the top menu bar (, Firefox, File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Window, Help) vanish from the menu bar at the top of the screen. The items on the right side of the menu bar are unaffected and remain visible. If I click in the menu bar area, the items that had disappeared return.

This does not occur with Safari or Chrome, only with Firefox and only infrequently.

Curious to know if it's a bug or something else.

Just recently I have found that certain sites are unavailable to me using Firefox but I can access them using Edge or Chrome. One particular one is Squarespace.

Is there anything known - how should I tackle this?

I discovered a bug with Firefox and the pen/touchscreen on my lenovo X1 tablet.

Using the touchscreen, move the map, map works as it should. Can pinch to zoom, ect.

Switch to the pen, map works with pen.

Touch the screen again and Google maps doesn't respond to touchscreen anymore, only the pen, and refresh does not fix it. I have to close and re-open maps in a new tab.

In chrome, this does not happen. Only in Firefox.

I'm trying to get my wife's firefox browsers synced - mainly her laptop and phone. I've got the phone signed in and working fine, but on her laptop there's no option to sign in and the sync option is missing from the settings menu?

It seems to be profile related as if I create a new blank profile the option is there - but if I copy all the data from her original profile the option goes missing again. Short of manually copying all her data over, I'm a bit stuck for what to do next - any ideas?

I've tried disabling any addons, restarting in troubleshooting mode etc. I've also looked at all the other solutions I can find from here (mostly related to group policies, there's nothing enabled on this) and everything seems as it should be.

I haven't tried reinstalling, but it seems like this is a profile issue rather than an installation issue?

It's a Win 11 laptop (upgraded from W10 if that makes a difference), FF version is 135.0 64 bit.

Long time user of Firefox and this issue of the Recaptcha Failed while never even opening the Recaptcha for selecting all the bikes, buses or whatever else it asks you to find in order to validate. This is a new install of the latest version of Firefox, I have no problem with Recaptcha using Chrome but prefer Firefox's privacy. I pay bills, work jobs from the internet which requires recaptcha to work in the browser I am using. I have not seen a answer anywhere to fix this problem which only happens in Firefox. Hi - I have TextHelp's Read&Write tool through my university, when trying to install the firefox extension i'm getting a notification saying that it can't install the extension because it's corrupt. I'm not sure what I'm missing but it'd be really helpful if I could get this onto firefox as I move away from google haha!

Any help to get this onto chrome would be appreciated! Thanks :)

For the past few weeks Firefox has been crashing and freezing often. Crashes are worst when trying to access Protonmail, which almost always crashes the tab instantly. Freezes happen most often when browsing Reddit, and also when watching Youtube, but crashes and freezes can happen on almost any website.

I have tried changing profiles, refreshing and uninstalling/reinstalling, but the problem persists and seems to be getting worse over time.

No idea if this is the right topic or not but I've been dealing with this frustrating issue where with some websites it just loads a blank white screen. I've tried every fix I could that I've seen on forums like this as well as on Reddit and nothing I've tried has fixed it. From launching in Safe Mode or changing things in about:config. Before finishing this post I tried launching in safe mode, so my add-ons and plugins are disabled and it still persists with websites loading in these blank white screens. I never had this issue at first and I'm sure it started to happen after an automatic update a while back.

I need this issue sorted out so I can look and compare items from shops but most of the time a website that works and I look at it elsewhere I'm dealing with this issue. No issue looking at stuff on the internet on my phone, though I do use safari instead on my phone.

I can see no way to download passwords or bookmarks on my android phone, so I can email them to myself, open on my PC and add them to PC Firefox. I have signed in to the same account on both devices, and turned sync on on both devices. I receive no passwords or bookmarks on the PC. I had to re-install Windows 11, and now I cant get my passwords or bookmarks onto my PC.

All of a sudden the allow location permission window is popping up repeatably. I have the option turned off and every time I go to Amazon or Home Depot or any such place the window ops up requesting that location location tracing for the sites. I tried toggling the on/off for the option but it didn't stop it. Help!

On my windows PC, I am unable to view Ring Camera live-view due to "error missing required codec". Does my Firefox have the required HEVC codec to view Ring Camera videos?
