I'm not sure if this is a Firefox or Google problem, I'm guessing Firefox because it doesn't happen in Chrome.

Every time I try to login to google in Firefox it auto logs me into a specific account, I don't mean it is already logged in, I'm logged out and where the blank field is to enter your account username(email) the drop down pops up and shows all the gmail accounts and picks one on its own then procedes to the next page for the password on its own. It's like someone took control of the mouse and was doing it for me. Really pisses me off because I'm trying to login to a different account and it chooses the same one every time and I can't choose. If this is some kind of auto login feature please tell me how to turn it off.

macOS 10.15.7 Hello, is there a way to detect by command line, if an audio or video stream is active in any tab? I need to know that because I want to hinder certain scripts to execute while Firefox is streaming a video or an audio.

Adjusting the volume of any sound or video player in Firefox also affects the browser's overall volume in the operating system, making it difficult to raise the volume without a sudden increase in volume. I've set 'media.volume_scale' to 0.1 as a temporary fix, but adjusting it frequently is a hassle. I've tested this on my laptop with Linux Mint, and the issue is there as well. A user on Discord referred to this as intended behaviour, but I find it inconsistent and impractical for Firefox to be the only software that behaves this way and would like to change it.

My Firefox browser has been crashing for a while now (Years). It's fine playing YouTube and BBC iPlayer but when I advance the time marker to a different part of the stream or video, it crashes. It also has a problem when playing slots. It seems to crash a lot making it impossible to play.

I have tried using Firefox in Troubleshooting Mode but the same things happen.

I'm facing this problem of sound disappearance. I was casually browsing on YouTube when suddenly my sound went off. I thought maybe it was the internet but no everything was okay I also checked my speaker it was ok. Then I found out Firefox was unable to generate any sound. I tried to re-install but didn't work. Can you give me a solution?

I am using Firefox 136 browser and browsing my browser sound suddenly has disappeared. The PC sound is just fine with other applications, even with Opera browser I tested. Help is needed.

When I watch a video on any website (including YouTube) and switch it to fullscreen mode, the video fades out and switches to fullscreen mode, and the same happens when switching back. How can I turn this off? I couldn't find such a setting in the browser settings

I formatted my PC recently, but since then, your browser does not play sound on other websites apart from youtube.com. I thought that my PC was faulty so I reinstalled Windows 10, still no sound.. Please help

There are video playback issues on both desktop Firefox and Android Firefox, but there is no category for both. However, I considered not being able to play the videos at all a more serious issue.

The HEVC video plays on android, but with lag as if there were no hardware acceleration while it plays fine on Chromium-based browsers. This same issue was present on desktop Firefox, but then hevc support disappeared in one of the updates altogether.

This page shows that HEVC isn't supported, despite nobody on the web reporting this bug. And neither is HDR supported for some reason. Despite Firefox Android having the same report from that site apart from the user agent, it's seemingly able to decode that video on CPU, whereas on Windows it shows a Mimetype error. Disabling hardware acceleration doesn't make Firefox play it on the CPU. Is there a fix for these?

FireFox updated to 136.0 (64bit), running on Winders11. Youtube does not play video. No error messages. no audio no video no buttons to click on to start. I really need to get this running. Your help is much appreciated. Thanks Stan W8SRD

Is there a way to force the video to continue playing after closing picture-in-picture player? It's a hassle to go back and forth every time since the pip player is blocking something.
