I have searched high and low for an answer to this simple question and tried to implement every (conflicting!) suggestion offered by Google AI and the Firefox help facility without success. None of the suggested fixes lines up with what I'm actually seeing on the screen at all.

All I want to do is change the "theme" or appearance of Firefox so that it follows the default OS settings -- in this case, I want green highlights and accents instead of Firefox's chosen purple. That's it. It really shouldn't be this hard, and it's incredibly frustrating to have to go down so deep a rabbit hole for what should be such a simple and obvious setting.

If someone can take the time to explain like I'm five the steps I need to take, I'd be most grateful.

The new update changed the Dark Mode Theme to include a color gradient on the tab row. This is quite distracting an I would like to know how to revert back to the plain, non color gradient Dark Mode Theme prior to the update.

Hello. I really dislike the new appearance of firefox, from the rounded buttons/tabs to the color scheme being everywhere. Is there a way to revert to the previous appearance, or customize these things?

Ever since i touched a [edited] computer it was like 10 [edited] years ago. I've never used anything other than firefox. Why? Their design was just right. Today i come home from the [edited] gym, and see this [edited]. Pilled tabs. Are you guys serious? You guys are just going to ruin this masterpiece to have pilled tabs with 100% border radius. This is a crime. This is the best browser ever, and you guys are ruining it with SLOP UI. Pathetic.

I just put on the latest update. How do I get rid of this new colored shit that some wiseass thought would look cute or pretty? I want the browser home page to look like it did before this update. How do I revert to it, while I review other browsers to go to?

My tabs are now in an AI-style pill. All of the browser has a weird gradient. It looks like AI tech bro BS. How to turn it back to a normal reliable browser interface? This is insanely terrible. Downloading Vivaldi now.

Also, there's now the File Edit View and so on on top. We have a word for that in German: Verschlimmbessert. In English: AI slopification.

Like seriously, what were y'all thinking? I'm using Firefox since it exists and am working as a designer. This AI slopification is an absolute nightmare. :(

157.0 made bookmarks sparce again. How to restore high density? Old methods dont help.

I really don't like the purple used in the settings pages. I changed my overall theme to Proton-which I like, however, it didn't make any changes to the purple and I really don't like the other themes. Some users may like the purple-I don't. There needs to be a way just to change the purple to something more pleasing.

Note to firefox I.T. - I am not going to waste anymore time trying to get all this purple that was version 157 update. Get rid of the purple soon or I'll uninstall firefox. Microsoft Edhe is already on the computer and is raring to go.

How do i revert the new graphical interface? I do not like the new rounded corners and the new themes that are shoved down our throat.

Why does mozilla like to do this to us ?

I had to find and download firefox 156. BUT Because 157 already installed itself in the bg, it also updated the user PROFILE which OFCOURSE it is not recognised by previous vers 156. Its corrupted by 157 and wont work with 156.

After 2 h of messing around with installs and profiles i COULDNT MAKE IT WORK. And now i have to watch this stupid UNPROFESIONAL GUI and i had to make an account on the forums to post this and try anbd find a way around and ofcourse i did because theres smarter ppl out there than those who work at mozilla. ( im reffering to the sollution with the browser.nova.disabled)

Today my Firefox browser upgraded to an "improved" look, but I hate it. The little square containers that used to be unobtrusive are now huge and visually distracting balloons, meanwhile it's harder to tell where the tab borders are or what tab I'm on. And the faded color in the top bar make it hard to read the text to the left even though I picked the darkest option, but I don't want to install themes by random makers. I just want to go back to how it was, it was fine that way, you don't have to constantly change things just for the sake of changing them.
