When I open Vivaldi browser, the link in the address bar is highlighted right away. That's not the case in Firefox. Here I to either need triple click or use "CTRL A" The same is true when I open a new tab.

Is there a way to do that in Firefox?

Sometimes, when I click an embedded/hyper link within Firefox, say I tried clicking a link provided after I google searched something, the tab itself would hang for 10 seconds before it would begin loading the site. When I say "hang", I mean that the entire tab becomes unresponsive to my clicks, I can't refresh the page, I couldn't change the address bar to a different link (it would allow me to manipulate the address bar, but the browser wouldn't reflect on that change, instead just going to the link I had clicked before the hang after the 10 second delay) and my mouse just stays as one sprite/disappears all together (when on the tab).

I find that this isn't a full browser issue as I can easily just start another tab and try there, but this issue is prevalent in that it randomly hangs any one tab I'm using for 10 seconds, and it's not just with Google.

I've identified that it isn't an extension issue or a different tab being used (tested in troubleshoot mode), nor an accessibility issue (as far as I know). I've disabled both my firewall and antivirus temporarily and it still occurred.

It's gotten in the way of a lot of work and I haven't been able to find anything regarding this exact problem on the support site. I've been dealing with it since my first installation of firefox (a few months ago).

I am using MacOS Monterey 12.7.1 with the latest Firefox version. When in full screen mode, if I want to refresh the screen I move the mouse pointer to the top of the page to get the tools to display but when I move it down the the refresh button, it quickly hides again before I can refresh the page. Does anyone know of a solution to this or a keyboard shortcut I can use to do a page refresh while in full screen mode?

This has been an ongoing issue for sometime with Firefox.

Backstory time. I am a regular shopper on eBay and I get email alerts for things I like to look at and for. Unfortunately, on my Outlook/Hotmail account, in these particular messages, the images don't load properly for some reason. And I would like to know the way to resolve this once and for all. I'm having problems to sync my account with one computer, and apparently the reason is that it cannot reach the sync server

I can open the above url from my phone and from one laptop, but I cannot open that address from the laptop that I'm trying to synchronize. I got the address from the sync-log

Both computers and phone are connected to the same local network.

When I went to watch Tubi TV today I got this error message when I tried to load the video:

"Oops, your web browser is no longer supported. Please upgrade to a modern, fully supported browser."

But only for a few seconds, then it shows

"Sorry, there was a problem loading the video player. Please try to reload the page. If you are using an ad-blocker, please disable it or whitelist tubitv.com If the problem persists, please contact us at tubitv.com/support"

I booted my firefox in safe mode, still get this exact sequence of events. My firefox is up-to-date. Is there a workaround for Tubi blocking content from firefox browsers? Is that what this is? Thank you

I cannot find an option in the settings to completely turn off translations. I vastly prefer English, Dutch, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese websites in their original language simply because I can read them and translated versions always have issues. But now firefox (I am on version 119, windows) continues checking (and asking for each language) wether I want something translated. How can I turn translations off completely?

Every time I try to login to my bank using Firefox New Private Window I get a message "Unable to login. Try again later." But if I then switch to Microsoft Edge browser using its private window I have no problem, no delay, in logging in. It has occurred to me that Edge is deliberately blocking or somehow delaying my login attempt with Firefox. Could this be?

I use MS Outlook for email in the Firefox browser. Regularly when I open a long email from organisations I subscribe to the email opens near it's end, it does does not open scrolled to the start of the email. This happens randomly with various websites, it is not associated with any specific website. I reported this to Microsoft Support. At their suggestion I tried using MS Outlook in Google Chrome. I have not experienced this problem in Google Chrome. For the last 3-4 days I have used Outlook in both Firefox and Google Chrome. On each day I have experienced emails opening near their end when first viewed in Firefox but not in Chrome. I have not had even one experience of this problem in Chrome so my conclusion is the problem must be an issue with Firefox's interaction with MS Outlook. I want to use Firefox but this problem is becoming very annoying and at the moment my go-to browser for email is Chrome. I spend several hours a day on-line and normally use Firefox for my internet browsing. I have not had any problems with any website other than this scrolling problem with Outlook. I'm not sure exactly when this problem started but have been aware of it for probably 2-3 weeks. This is a random problem, I don't have any screenshots to share with you. Thanks for your help.

Is there a way to enable using both a default pattern as well as a custom image for the background on Firefox Color? I really want to enable both but it is making me choose one or the other. Please help me do this or enable the ability to do so.

I use a lot of keyword search engines. This means I can type something like `kagi foobar` to search Kagi for `foobar`. However the awesome bar has a "feature" where if you type a question mark (?) anywhere it instead uses the default search engine. This means that `kagi How do I cook a turkey?` searches my default search engine for "kagi How do I cook a turkey?" rather than searching Kagi (based on the `kagi` keyword). Is there a way to disable this behaviour?

I have searched about:config and "Search Shortcuts" in preferences doesn't have a `?`. I never use `?` as a shortcut to search (I just type the keyword for the engine I want) so completely removing it would be perfect.

Hi, i have problem with uninstalling uBlock Origin i cant remove them from extension tab. I tried refreshing firefox, reinstalling, opening firefox with troubleshoot mode and still nothing i dont know why is so difficult.Even when i reinstalling firefox this addon onstalling by itself even when im not logged in.Please help me. Version 120 (PC) continuously crashes and asks me to refresh and nothing happens (including after rebooting) so I had no choice to uninstall. I normally trust your updates but I'm really regretting this one. Can you help me not switch over to chrome? Maybe you're already aware of this bug and will have it fixed soon.

I'm tired off spell check constantly saying I'm misspelling words because I'm writing in Danish, so I decided to download the danish dictionary for it, but it isn't working. When I right click on a "misspelled" word, it will only let me choose the default English (United States).

I have triple checked that I actually do have the danish dictionary downloaded an enabled.

Over the last five hours, I have gotten 27 emails from Firefox Monitor for this data breach, for the same email address. I have already marked the breach as resolved in Monitor but I keep getting emails. Is there anything I can do about it?
