Every time I try to change the resolution of YouTube videos, it only provides 360p as an option, with a "Missing options?" message that redirects me to Google help page that just says my browser might be out of date (I'm on most recent Firefox and Windows 10 updates). The quality is still stuck in 360p when I reboot Firefox in Troubleshooting mode, and there are no quality issues when I use a browser like Edge. What should I be checking to resolve the issue?

I took no action to refresh or change my Firefox settings before saved passwords disappeared. Bookmarks and history are intact. I checked the data in profiles and the only json file listed is within profiles:default release. Within this, root directory shows logins.json1.corrupt five times for 18th July. There is a logins.backup file added on 19th July. Can I use this to restore my passwords?

this needs to be able to be disabled. I cannot view my reports on medicare.gov due to this security measure. Help and forums are not helpful.... It says just open in a new window, but if you do that, you have to log in and then it is not a new window, and will not open. Now I have to go another browser which irritates me to no end because I have used firefox always. There are many sites that have embedded information and reports that I would like to see, but cannot and they are perfestly SAFE. NOT ok firefox.

Firefox recently caught a virus when I opened a supposedly reputable website, so I had to uninstall and reinstall Firefox. Now, several of the previous features are gone. Most notably, the bookmarks icon (three bars) that used to drop down to show all my saved bookmarks now does nothing. In addition, I am no longer able to edit the names of my bookmarks. When I fill in the blanks in the "edit bookmark" function, the OK button is greyed out and not active.

I've been having this annoying popup about XULRunner encountering an error. From what I've read, XULRunner is a legacy integration with Firefox. Sure enough, I see Mozilla Firefox installed. But un-installing it doesn't help. Soon, it is re-installed, and the error comes back. I have a feeling that some application is using XULRunner and Firefox as a component, but I don't know what it could be. Is there any way to find out, and stop that application from installing Firefox and XULRunner? Or at least getting its problem fixed?

Hello, If I create custom "Recently bookmarked" like place:folder=BOOKMARKS_MENU&folder=UNFILED_BOOKMARKS&folder=TOOLBAR&queryType=1&sort=12&excludeItemIfParentHasAnnotation=livemark%2FfeedURI&maxResults=10&excludeQueries=1 and I sync my data with other device, this bookmark gets wiped on both devices. How this can be solved? Thank you

When I try to login in to websites (example Calm Radio) the Submit or Log In type of buttons don't activate. It does not hang or go into a spinning loop, no blank screen, etc. Just acts like there is no followup action to execute. The same buttons work on Edge or Chrome on the same computer. I have attached a screenshot as an example.

I have firefox 115.13 and it freezes intermittently for about 15 seconds. It didn't do this before 115.13. I'd like to revert to 115.12 and keep it there. How can I do this?

When viewing Foxnews website, I click a story to follow. When the new page opens, any next or video window goes black with no way to view the content. Does not occur with Edge.

For a few months now I've been having issues uploading firmware files to my QNAP server's website. I was trying to update the firmware, but it wouldn't allow the file to even be uploaded. Would just get a general "error" with no help.

This past week a started having issues with 7digital.com not allowing me to download zipped music files. It kept giving an error about the oauth token not being passed through. (Error: Authorization failed for method <GET> and URL <http://media.geo.7digital.com/media/user/download/release>. Missing oauth_consumer_key)

Finally figured out that this is only happening in Firefox, Brave browser and other Chrome based browsers don't have the issue.

I've tried turning off the tracking and download protection in settings, but it didn't help. So, what's causing it?

I can’t seem to update my Firefox acct. I’ve tried updating it several times and I can’t tell if the update happened. When I try to sign into my Chase acct, it keeps telling me that I need to update the version.
