After the latest MacOS update (Monterey) when my laptop started back up I saw everything in Firefox in a different language. This didn't happen in Chrome or Safari. Not it seems to happen if I can't connect to wifi and then reconnect. It's always on an error page and *sometimes* on other pages too (like the login to this forum just now).

I've tried:

• Reinstalling Firefox
• Clearing all of my cache and browsing history
• Using the Firefox repair tool

Nothing seems to help and Apple support just says its a Firefox issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I keep getting the message 'Access to clipboard denied - please update your browser Preferences'. (Firefox in Windows and Mac).

But Firefox Preferences shows NOTHING about the clipboard.

This seems to be the default in the latest Firefox – before I updated it there was an annoying popup that asked me to select Block/Allow access to clipboard *and I always clicked Allow*. Now it is blocked and I cannot turn off the block.

This has made Firefox unusable.

In recent times, after I've been browsing for about 20 or 30 minutes, Firefox becomes very very slow to respond. Simultaneously it coincides with a similar slowdown over the entire computer - in finder and with other open programs. If I close Firefox (which takes several minutes to complete) the slowness of finder and the open programs disappears. The slowness never happens unless Firefox is open. I've tried Chrome and haven't had the same issue.

What might be causing this delayed slowness and how do I solve it?

Firefox crashes whenever I go onto a certain web page such as a few parts of the discord website and some YouTube videos. I have tried nearly everything I can find which is somewhat similar to the issue I am having. I tried disabling WebGL, tweaking security.sandbox.content.level, reinstalling, checking my add-ons, and rebooting my macbook (macOS 10.13.6). The same thing happens on safari, but not chrome.

Preview is opened as default when printing. I prefer to use the system printing. How can I discard Preview? The printing task now takes more than a minute to access the printer. It all started since Preview was introduced as default! Meanwhile Firefox i locked and I can't do anything in Firefox.

Long time User of Firefox. Everyone day, one of the first sites I read is WSJ.com. Recently (now running 89.0 Firefox) the WSJ.com website has been totally jumbled. I cross checked it on Chrome, where it was working fine. I have reported this to WSJ.com, and now also to Firefox. Is there a new setting requirement in Firefox 89.0 for that page? This is the only regular site I visit where this is occurring.

Any insights?

When i open a new tab, i want to start my research in the central search bar of the home page, not in the adress bar.

So in firefox 89, i put the parameter "browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar" to false. And it worked.

With firefox 90, it dit not work anymore.

How can i retrieve the previous behaviour ?

2. 2. I can't delete all the bookmarks with no icon.
3. 3. I can't export bookmarks by clicking neither Restore... nor Export Bookmarks in HTLM. Nothing happens.

I'd like to decrease the font size and change the font type in the pull down bookmarks menus. Is there a way to do that? There is no effect after tried Fonts and Colors under Preferences - Language & Appearance. Thanks.

I cannot create a new login when I try I get this error message "An error occurred while trying to save this password". Whenever I open a new site and am asked if I want to save the password I click yes. When I check the logins/passwords on FF it's empty. I found someone else had this same issue and tried what was suggested and it did not work for me. I really need to save several passwords. This is quite frustrating. Help!

Hello! As said, my laptop died suddenly a day ago. I had Firefox Sync activated. I have now installed Firefox in the new machine, logged into Sync but Sync is not syncing anything. Not even being able to "see" that I had a laptop before.

Any options to bring back my bookmarks?

I have a 2007 iMac and need a version of Firefox that will operate on MAC OS10.5.8

To be clear: I am NOT trying to update the computer. It is end-of-life. I just want to use it as a spare and have internet access.

I'm running Mojave 10.14.6 on a MacMini (late 2018) with 64 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 and Firefox v86.0 64-bit.

I need to disable Command+D that's currently used to "Bookmark This Page".

I need Command+D for another use.

I've searched about:config for "bookmark" and get a lot of hits, but I can't tell which one controls the setting for Command+D.

Or . . . am I barking up the wrong tree?

I want to disable Command+D.

Leaving the ability to mouse up and click Bookmarks > "Bookmark This Page" is ok.

I just need to disable the keyboard shortcut Command+D for "Bookmark This Page".

Anyone got a "howto" for this?

I raised the problem and had a response kindly trying to assist but after following all the steps advised I still can't access any bookmarks or history.

I have located the places.sqlite file as advised and renamed it but when I restart Firefox nothing changes and it makes no attempt to recover bookmarks from the backup files.

I would welcome any assistance as I have saved details I need.

How the flipping f can I disable this (see attached image). I was able to do this previously with setting "browser.urlbar.update2 = false" Now it doesn't work anymore.

I use keyword for search engines extensively and this is very very annoying!

How do I make it go away.

So for the second time this month my bookmarks in my toolbar have disappeared. I was signed into my Firefox account both times they went missing. I tired to restore from backup...... nothing. I made sure that the tool bar was enabled.... nothing. I'm so frustrated, as I am in full-time school with three days left in my term and all my textbooks and course sites are GONE!! I don't understand why this keeps happening.
