When I turn on my Mac and click the Firefox browser icon, it will not load. It hangs. I get a "not responding" message and have to "force quit," again and again until FINALLY it loads, after five or more failed attempts. This does not happen with Firefox on my laptop, only my Mac. Both Firefox and my Mac are up to date. Why is this happening? Please help. It happens every day when I try to load the browser. I am about to give up and move to Safari. Relatedly, anyone know if it's possible to export all my bookmarks from Firefox to Safari?

Firefox is stuck in a loop! After installing the 145 update, it just keeps asking me to sign into with my admin credentials to install "a new helper tool" over and over. After entering my password nothing happens and when I try to relaunch, the FF icon just bounces. ("Force Quit" shows that the application is not responding.) After multiple attempts, I rebooted my laptop, but it didn't help, as I still get the request for installing the helper too. I'm in the midst of multiple project deadlines and this is very frustrating! Thanks in advance for your help.

After a Windows 11 update, Firefox does not automatically start although set to do it and when I start it, a small rectangular box appears in the upper left corner of the screen.

Please resolve.

Whenever I try to open firefox it automatically opens google chrome, I haven’t used chrome for over a year and i’ve set firefox as my default app for everything. I double checked the shortcut to make sure it’s going to the right place and it is. and i’ve tried deleting Chrome via Revo Uninstaller but the issue persists.

this wasn’t happening 5 minutes ago and i can’t exactly think of a reason for the change.

The Firefox I was using was crushed entirely and lost all my passwords, bookmarks, etc. The app's folder is not accessible. Then I downloaded a new version, and when I tried to open the app, a dialogue box said Firefox was trying to install a helper. Cancel does not work, and the "OK" stops the opening. I have a Mac with an OS Sequoia 15.

I tried to transfer the json, place.., key4, etc by copying from the old information i have, but the system does not work.

I need to find out why Firefox won't open anymore. A pop-up window says it is trying to install a new helper tool but it won't accept the password I use. This is on a Mac M2 with OS 15.4.1

Hallo, ich finde auf deutsche keine Support-Seite um eine Frage zu stellen. Auf meinem alten WIN10 Pc lässt sich Firefox nicht mehr starten. Ich öffne es aus der Taskleiste oder von der Verknüpfung auf dem Desktop. Es tut sich aber nichts. Ausführen als Admin hilft auch nicht Ich hab dann über den Taskmanager geschaut ob das Programm im Hintergrund läuft. Dort wird es auch nicht angezeigt. Ich hab dann Firefox gelöscht und neu installiert. Aber das hilft nichts. Ich habe keine Ahnung was ich sonst machen kann. Über Google findet man dazu absolut nichts. Alles hat funktioniert aber von einem auf den anderen Tag ging nichts mehr. An meinem Anitvirus-Programm kann es NICHT liegen. Auch mit deaktiviertem Antivirus-Programm startet Firefox nixht mehr. Bitte um technischen Support. Danke

Hello, I can't find a support page in German to ask a question. Firefox won't start on my old Windows 10 PC anymore. I try opening it from the taskbar or the shortcut on the desktop. But nothing happens. Running as administrator doesn't help either. I checked the Task Manager to see if the program was running in the background. It's not showing up there either. I then deleted Firefox and reinstalled it. But that didn't help. I have no idea what else I can do. I can't find anything about this on Google. Everything was working fine, but then suddenly it stopped working. It can't be my antivirus program. Even with the antivirus program disabled, Firefox still won't start. Please provide technical support. Thank you.

I am using OS MX-25 Linux and after importing my previous FF profile from an earlier version of MX everything in Firefox 145.0 was fine: my bookmarks and extensions all loaded and everything was tickety-boo. However, after I attempted to relaunch FF I got the following message:

Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible.

I have tried numerous times to launch FF but just keep getting this message.

Eventually it launched, but after a while pages refused to load properly and so I closed it down. Since then, I have been unable to get FF to open.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
