Yesterday, Facebook started to take longer and longer to load a page. Whenever I tried to post something and it took forevahhhh for it to show up on the timeline. I had to reload and repost several times since yesterday. All other websites are loading up just fine, but Facebook has taken as long as 30 seconds, sometimes even more before it refreshes a page.

Then.. it got worse. All I could see was the Facebook logo in the middle of the screen and nothing else.

Then it got even worse. As of this morning, I can't even get any results when I google Facebook! I put Facebook into the search bar, click return -- and nothing happens, absolutely nothing.

I'm not seeing any problems with any other website. I have already restarted my modem. I have already cleared out the cache and the cookies. I have restarted my laptop three times. I even looked up Downdetector, but there aren't any problems with the website in general.

Those are all the solutions I've found when searching about this, but the problem is only becoming worse, with everything I try. If there's something I need to change in Facebook settings, I can't do that, because now Facebook is completely inaccessible.

This is only happening on my laptop. Mobile is fine.

I am running the latest firefox version 147.0.3 64-bit. Gmail opens and runs fine on duck duck go and brave. Cannot find any info on how to solve/fix/override/whatever on "numeric code 4" but seems like other folks experience, too. I appreciate your help.

When I try to log onto Facebook via Firefox I can see only three articles and after that everything goes blank. I don't have that problem when I use Edge. What can be the problem?

lloyds bank uk has always worked for last 16 years, does not now the dialog box they produce on a change details process should end up with a code they generate. nothing appears so i cannot access my account even after going through on helpline. their suggestion is that i should change to Chrome!

Summary: Uploading a file to a custom webapp with Chromium (Edge) works but consistently fails in Firefox. In Firefox the request is created, and times out. The server receives no file and logs “missing file.” The same webapp code is running on both Chromium and Firefox.

Environment:

• Server: export const config = { api: { bodyParser: false } } + multipart parsing (formidable)

• Firefox Version 147.0.3 (64-bit)
• OS: Ubuntu 22 / Linux

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a FormData object and append a local file:

1. In Edge/Chrome, upload succeeds. Server receives multipart body and parses the file. Actual behavior in Firefox:

• Transferred: 0 B
• No response status/body
• Client times out (Upload times out)
• File upload request received
• No bytes read server‑side.

Evidence:

  • content-type: multipart/form-data; boundary=----WebKitFormBoundary...
  • bytesRead ~1.69MB
• Firefox request logs:
  • Transferred 0 B
  • File upload missing file field

Notes:

• Client FormData is valid; we log file.name and file.size right before fetch.
• There is a CSP report‑only warning (frame‑ancestors) when using a fallback iframe approach, but we are not using iframe in the failing case.

Question: Is there a known issue where Firefox blocks or fails to send and multipart/body can be stripped before it leaves the browser? Is there a recommended workaround that does not rely on browser sniffing?

I need my gmail account but I cannot sign into it, it wants me to start a new one, but that will not do at all. I will wait for a week to see if you can rectify this problem.

For the past two days I haven't been able to get past the recaptcha on several sites (Facebook, Instagram). I have tried all the workarounds other users have provided and what Google has offerd to no avail. I'm also having a difficult time accessing my hotmail acct from Firefox as well. I don't seem to have this issue with either of these problems if I move to a different browser. Firefox has always been my main (and only) browser, yet more and more often I seem to have issues anymore. What the F is going on? Would appreciate any help I can get. Again, I've tried removing Ad Blockers from these sites and even turned off the 'Enhanced Tracking' thing on the address bar; none of this works.

Since the last update when I go to YouTube and I choose my Home or YouTube icons so I can watch videos I will see the list of videos they are offering for just a flash and then they disappear. I still have all the things across the top and down the left side of my screen that YouTube always shows, but there are no videos to be seen. It's just white space. After turning off different items in my Malwarebytes to see if it was a problem with them (which it did not seem to be), I decided to try YouTube on Safari to see if it was a FireFox issue. YouTube worked perfectly on Safari. I've been looking through settings to try and figure this out, but I'm having no luck. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Firefox has been laggy at times lately on my PC (Windows 11 Home, Firefox 152). I have tried some fixes with no success (clearing the cache, deleting YouTube cookies, using the User-Agent Switcher, etc.) Other browsers appear to be unaffected. I first noticed this on YouTube, but it seems that other websites are affected as well.

ADBlock + is disabled Celà ne se passe pas, pour les mêmes pages avec Edge. Que faut-il faire? remettre Edge en navigateur par défaut? Since the last few days weather.com will not work with my version of Firefox. I use 115.37.0esr version of Firefox. Since the last few days Weather.com seems like it is loading and displays the page correctly for half a second but as soon as the page appears, it disappears leaving a small message midscreen that says " This page couldn’t load - Reload to try again, or go back."

I tried turning off my adblocker but that made no difference. Anyone got any ideas? I really like weather.com. It's one of those nice websites that are like when the web was new and was just a useful thing for everyone.

I have gone to Menard's several times and have tried to open a dog kennel item so I could see it bigger and in a single item view. Nothing happens when I click on it like it did before this last update!!!!!!!!!!! I get so tired of these program people change so much that i mess up how a person had used the software before they mucked it all up!!!!!!! In the last week I had the Firefox update, and two others an all of them have been changed so drastically nothing works like it did before the updates. MY REQUEST IS LEAVE IT THE SAME AND DON'T MESS WHEN HOW WE HAVE BEEN USING THE PROGRAM UNLESS WE WANT THE NEW UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Windows 11. I am the web manager for tunbridge wells u3a. The site is hosted by the national u3a and uses their templates etc. On edge and chrome, it works fine, but not on Firefox. Several months ago, the page operations (save, open, change, etc took a few minutes to complete, with the message bottom left about waiting for the host site. All of the usual cache clearing, reboots etc made no difference.

The website commonly used by Arizonans to make filings for court, will not work properly with Firefox, even after turning off Enhanced Tracking Protection. I had to use Chrome instead.
