When I search for something it shows up in English, but some text under the result is French as shown in the picture. I use latest Firefox with Google search engine, and I have all settings in Google set to English, And same for Firefox settings

My Firefox 150.0.3 (64-bit) in Windows 11 on a Dell 9310 locks up when the XPS is put sleep and awakened after 5-minutes or so. No recent Extensions or Add-ons have been installed. I have yet to delete and reinstall Firefox, maybe that's the next stop. I just can't find the problem with my limited tools and experience. Thanks, and appreciate the help.

Recently (about a month) I have found I often have to login to my Firefox account in order to access saved passwords etc. Sometimes from one day to the next. It never used to do this. Can't find any setting like "trust this device" or similar to stay logged in.

I'm wondering if I am experiencing intended behavior or if I've stumbled upon a bug. I am sometimes downloading files in a staggered manner (i.e., waiting for files to finish downloading before I start the next file downloads). However, any file after the first in that session shows an inaccurate progress indicator in the toolbar which includes progress of the already completed downloads.

For example, if I download two files completely, then start the download of two new files and both sit at 0%, the progress bar for the downloads actually shows 50% completed (2 files at 100%, 2 files at 0% -> Average of 4 files at 50%). I can't imagine this is intended behavior, for I imagine users would like to know how their current downloads are progressing only. This behavior is only fixed when I clear previous downloads, which resets the list to only active downloads, or when I restart the browser and start a new session.

Is there a setting where I can make the indicator report only active downloads?

Hi whenever I use my Google account to sign into websites (Google, ebay, YouTube, & anyother sites,) Firefox will become unresponsive, the window containing the tab i was using becomes unresponsive, sort of. - I can't click any open Firefox Tabs, - the red 'Close' radio button is greyed-out, so I can't close any tabs or the window - right-click is unresponsive, so i can't close tabs that way, but Command-W closes the tabs normally, but the others are still unresponsive.

- i can open a new Firefox window (with &/or without Tabs,) which works normally.

- & unrelated, but earlier, Firefox was running really slowly, Youtube videos were slowed down, but audio was normal, and scrolling was slow.

video downloadhelper is not saving the videos to vdhelper folder any longer. how do I change the folder location for only the video downloadhelper. its going straight to download folder.

I use Firefox frequently as it is the most useful browser I have. I want to keep a clean desktop and do not have icons on my desktop. Every time Firefox updates, it places an icon on my desktop. I do not want it there and delete it. It is very, very annoying to have to delete every time there is an update. How can I keep that from putting it on my desktop? If the thinking is that if it gets put there, I will use it, that will be what keeps me from using it. If I cannot find a way to stop it, I will remove the program altogether and figure out a way to do the things I currently do with Firefox. Please let me know how to accomplish keeping my desktop clean.

Recently passkey function stopped working for Roboform which requires entering password for each login event. Roboform support indicates the issue is being caused be Firefox function. Please advise on this issue. Thanks,

Halfway through today I'm unableto access three sites which I use regularly.using a VPN: 1337X.TO EZTVX.TO THEPIRATEBAY.ORG

I am able to access THEPIRATEBAY.ORG with Opera <ptooh> so the site itself obviously doesn't have a problem.

I've tried changng my VPN location from the UK to Amsterdam, NL and to Washington, USA but none of those locations have helped.

My wife needsher daily fix of American soaps and Police dramas which never get to us here in the UK

How can I get around this, I really don't want to go down the TOR route unless I absolutely have to.

Hello, I have Windows 7 and I use Firefox ESR as my browser. It has work correctly for years now, but since a couple of days it has problems with downloading the latest updates. It asks me download the update but as I go into the settings page, the download is stuck at 0 kB. I also get a message box that FF is not able to download the update and it sends me to a Mozilla Firefox ESR download page and when I want to download the ESR version, FF cannot open the page with the installation file. Also many other links on the Mozilla page do not open or do not open correctly. Also it doesn't open this support page, I am writing this messages through my phone. Also it doesn't open the website bol.com. So what can I do. I have already tried clearing the cache and cookies. It doesn't help. I hope you can help.

Hello! I can't login to my x.com account from Firefox 115.35.2esr on Windows 7 SP1. I'd was stay logged in many years before I accidentally clear my cookies. And now I can't login. It just reloaded input form when I type my login and press "Next"button. I tryed login from Private mode, I tryed to disable all addons. Nothing helped. But I still can login/logout from Firefox 140.10.2 on Windows 11.

Randomly my firefix just get loggedout and when i immediately logged it in again using mozilla i cant see my bookmarks my other accounts my profiles and all my groups and other information it was like i had made a fresh account all my data is lost what to do ? PLZ help i really want my data back i have been trying to get my data. Working on it for last hour.

help me restore my open windows. this has also happened a couple times before and its very frustrating when i have tabs open to read/refer to later or am in the process of reading and then i have to try and find them all again.

This has happened randomly on several different computers, both windows and ubuntu linux. It just now happened on my Win 11 computer. Was viewing the CNN news site and FF suddenly closed, without a "FF crashed..." message.When I clicked the icon to reopen it, it came up with the home page group of tabs instead of reopening the windows and tabs that were opened when it crashed. Worse, none of the previous months of history shows up and recently closed tabs and windows are both greyed out.

Is there a way of recovering the history of what I was working on at the time of the crash and what the hell is causing this? I am close to dumping FF and going with something else as this is highly annoying.

Firefox runs some sites slows on one of my Windows 10 computers.

I'm running Firefox on 4 Windows PCs and 3 of the 4 work just fine using the same synced profile.

Fidelity.com and Amazon.com are 2 of the sites that are very slow to load. They will eventually load, but clicking on any links causes another slow load.

The same web sites are fast when I use MS Edge.

Troubleshooting steps I've taken (none of which have worked):

• Refreshed Firefox
• Created a new profile
• Uninstalled Firefox leaving my old profile
• Completely uninstalled Firefox and deleted my profile

Any thoughts on troubleshooting steps to take?

I've done recent updates (May 2026) and after having 3 updates in recent months, I still have difficulties with my video programs (both Zoom and "One-click) slowing down during my work which is 100% virtual. How can I revert to an earlier version where this was resolved, please!!??
