Hello,

I updated my version to 153.0. The Bookmarks left panel was there. I did a CTRL+B, this one disapeared normal But once done I wanted to have my Boorkmarl left pannel back. So I did CTRL+B no Bookmark left pannel was displayed :-(

I successfully imported the book marks and see multiple bookmarks folders in library. At least one of them really has the bookmarks. But when I enable show bookmarks, they are nowhere to be seen

i cant save any bookmarks , as i seem to be blocked by something in firefox , i have rest , refreshed fire fox and i have uninstalled and reinstalled , still have the same problem

I can't figure out which topic to use for this but I can't submit it without one.

When I click on the star icon in the address bar the star icon is filled in, and existing bookmarks do show with the filled-in star icon and they work. But I no longer get a dropdown where I can assign a folder, edit, tag, or delete an existing bookmark, and the pages I've tried to bookmark don't show up in Recently Bookmarked so they haven't been added. I don't know if it has something to do with the toolbar?

Nothing I can find online helps. The places.sqlite file in my profile is not read-only, and I refreshed Firefox (stupidly, before I took a screenshot of the pinned shortcuts on my New Tabs page) and that made no difference. The only extension I use is UBlock Origin. Changing profiles did not help. This is on my personal laptop and no organization controls my settings.

I stay up to date on Windows 11 and Firefox updates. I do use a VPN but it never interfered with bookmarking functionality before. (I see Firefox offers a free one now but I've got a couple of years left on my paid subscription).

I asked the community but got no replies. (I did "reply" to add more information which no longer applies, and I can't seem to delete the "reply".)

Bonjour, Depuis quelques temps il m'est impossible de marquer les onglets que je désire conserver. La fonction "marquer l'onglet courant" ne fonctionne plus. Sur le même sujet, il m'est également impossible d'effacer les marque-pages que je ne souhaite pas conserver. Donc, pour résumer, impossible de marquer de nouveaux onglets et impossible d'effacer les anciens qui ont été conservés. Merci de votre aide. Hello, For some time now it has been impossible for me to mark the tabs I want to keep. The 'Mark Current Tab' function no longer works. On the same subject, it is also impossible for me to delete tabs that I do not wish to keep. So, to sum up, it is impossible to mark new tabs and impossible to erase the old ones that have been kept. Hello, I noticed google rolled out new icons for its workspace. However I use these workspace apps frequently and leave them on my bookmarks bar. For some reason however the docs, slides, and sheets logos respectively have defaulted their icons back to the original google drive icon. making it impossible to tell which is which from a glance. Sorry to bother y'all!

When I creat a new bookmarks they are not automatically put in alphabetical order but instead are placed in the ned. Why not put them in order when they are made? Anyway, I tried to use the option that allows me to sort bookmarks alphabetically but nothing happens. This used to work but not now. I am using 137.0.1 (aarch64)

Hello there; I had installed the "savefrom.net" extension. This extension automatically generated the website address to the "bookmarks toolbar". I deleted the extension and deleted the shortcut as well. But when the bookmarked website shortcut "firefox" is closed and reopened, it adds itself to the bookmarks toolbar again. No matter what I did, it didn't work. I don't want to delete Firefox completely and reinstall it. Because there are too many shortcuts and data that I use all the time. How do you think I can solve this problem?

In the last approx 3-4 weeks, Firefox bookmarks on Android and PC have *not* remembered alphabetical sort choices on PC. I cannot sort (and remember) bookmark toolbar alphabetical sort order on PC and I cannot sort and remember bookmark alphabetical sort on Android, synced with the PC. My bookmarks on both PC and Android are arranged in some haphazard way that "sorting by name" under Bookmarks / Manage Bookmarks / Bookmarks Toolbar / Views / Sort / Sort by Name momentarily changes but does not persist to the next time I view. The next time I view the sort of the bookmarks toolbar, it is always "unsorted". Again this has only been an issue in the past 3-4 weeks.

Every couple of days the News Sites I have saved to my Bookmarks Toolbar cease to function and I have to delete the icons and then save the Bookmarks to the Toolbar AGAIN! Having to do this on such a frequent basis defeats the purpose of a "Toolbar"!!

We can not delete bookmarks after trying everything I know. Re: restarted in troubleshoot, cleared the history and cookies etc. Do we have to uninstall and then reinstall to fix it? If not, how do we fix it?

Not sure whats going on here, been using FF for decades with no problems. I am saving bookmarks to various folders but recently noticed some were not in the folders I was sure I had saved them too. For example, in the screenshot attached I had saved the Rink Diary Bookings to my Bowls folder, but when I opened the folder later the bookmark was not shown. I did the Google search and checked what I could and most solution options were aimed at the Toolbar, which I didn't have a problem with. I then noticed some other bookmarks were no longer showing. I then saved a new Rink Diary Bookings link (now ending in '1') to a second folder so I knew which link was from each folder. This new bookmark also failed to show in the new folder. I somehow found a search button for the bookmarks and found both the bookmarks in the correct folders. (See attached) Can anyone advise how to get the bookmarks to show in, and open from, the actual folders? I am not very tech minded so any help is appreciated. I have copied the folder menu's in the attachment Thank you.
