Message is: Media could not be loaded, either because server or network failed or because format is not supported.

When you check the image, you can see two "HOME" entries. This is an issue I discovered after uninstalling and reinstalling the Firefox browser and using Sync.

HOME is my PC, and this image was screenshot on my laptop.

Additionally, the Sync for these HOME entries is not functioning properly. I tested this by opening several sites, and while Sync works well from my smartphone to my PC, it doesn't sync properly from my PC to my laptop.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I tried rebooting my PC, but it didn't work out.

Hi, I've noticed an inconsistency when clicking on Web-based protocol handlers in Firefox on Windows. Specifically, when I click on a mailto protocol, such as "mailto:email@example.com," it directly opens my default email application without any confirmation prompt. However, when I click on any other protocol handler, a confirmation pop-up appears, asking me to confirm which application to use. I have attached an example of what I mean.

Is there a way to configure Firefox to always show a confirmation pop-up for all protocol handlers, including mailto links? I prefer to have the option to choose the application each time rather than automatically using the default one.

Using windows 11 on a desktop PC. Firefox has been my default browser for decades...issues have been very rare. But this is a catastrophic problem. One of those folders contains links to equipment mfrs, the other one has links to dealers and retailers. In the last month TWO folders and all their contents have vanished from my bookmarks sidebar and cannot be found anywhere on my computer. I NEED those folders...Where did they go and how do I recover them ?????

Help to do that will be appreciated!

 CSV-Dokument      to    open with firefox

opens edless new firefox Tabs - so I had to kill firefox. (setting CSV-Dokument to open with OpenOffice works fine. But this is not what I want.)

In Preferences Applications, I found further CSV types: application/csv-Typ CSV Document (application/text) CSV Document (octet/stream) CSV Document (application/x-download) Which applications should I use for them ?

I found the file "mimeTypes.rdf". However, I am not familiar with the syntax.

Firefox is my favourite browser so I prefer using it in all my online activities. When I go to Adobe Firefly though, I consistently get a warning that this browser is not compatible and they suggest using Chrome, Safari or the latest version of Firefox !!! I am using the latest version available, 127.0.2 but Adobe does not detect it correctly. I have to switch to Chrome, that I'm not very fond of. I saw that a similar issue was posted 10 months ago but it's now archived and I can't even include a link to it here :( So, I hope this comment helps in case others have the same problem. My old 'Legion' laptop had my (I'd guess) open tabs history from late June! I now have a new laptop, and I logged into Firefox, and didn't see all history from June. I need those 'previous' sessions... Where are They??

No issues in troubleshooting mode, when I disable all of my add-ons and themes the issue persists. I have reset my browser entirely as well as uninstalled and reinstalled with the same issues.

So, I've switched to Firefox as my main browser (I was using it before, but as a secondary option) and I've spotted this native extension called Pocket.

When I pressed it, I was on YouTube Music already, so it automatically saved that url. Now, the reason of contacting support is more of concern than anything. When I pressed it, a weird message has been attached to it, so I am wondering why, as it is confusing to say the least. I've attached a screenshot with the saves, which also has the weird message and YouTube for comparison next to it.

i cant find panel and scroll down to the Forms and Autofill section. and i want to delete the auto fill emails i get popped up when i want to type an email anywhere please help

I am very strongly opposed to any AI features being forced on me. When I opened Amazon today I discovered Fakespot had turned it self on. Might there might be some way to edit my config file to not have this happen again?

If you are currently using a normal window then there are ways to open a bookmark or link in a private window. But if you are currently using a private window then how would you open a bookmark or link in a normal window?

I have tried several things including pressing shift+enter or choosing "Open in new Window" from the context menu, but this just opens the bookmark or link in a new private window.

My current method is to copy the address of the bookmark or link then paste it into the address bar of a normal window.

But is there a more direct method of opening bookmarks or links in a normal window, if currently in a private window?

I have been cleaning up a rather messy and duplicate-filled set of bookmarks on my desktop and have inadvertently deleted a single folder I would very much like to have back. I have that same folder (ten years of photography-related links) on my laptop but do not see a straight forward way to bring it alone over to my desktop. Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.
