Good morning,
I have been experiencing many issue in reopening closed tabs from the history menu after closing firefox. I can click it, but nothing happens. It ends up with me reopening sometimes 30+ tabs manually, which so inconvenient.
Any lead?
Thanks in advance

I have WhatsApp Web pinned as a tab in Firefox, and other than that I also have a home page. Normally when I launched Firefox, only one window would open and it would have both the pinned whatsapp tab and the homepage in another tab.
Since today, now when I launch Firefox it opens two separate windows. One window only contains the pinned WhatsApp Web tab, and the other window contains the home page.
How can I make it so that when I launch Firefox only one window opens that contains both tabs? Please don't tell me this option has been inadvertently removed.... Thanks.

I have Firefox set to reopen the previous session whenever the browser is launched. I normally have multiple windows open; I have different tabs in different windows so as to organize them and make it easier to access a particular tab / type of content. I can mouseover on the toolbar and select a tab via preview.
Until recently, whenever Firefox relaunched my previous session, it kept the arrangement of the windows intact (from right to left in the preview). After a recent update, I assume, Firefox is now no keeps them in the same arrangement; aside from my first window, all the others now randomly (or so it seems to me) rearrange themselves whenever the browser launches.
I can reorder them by selectively closing and reopening windows, but it's getting tedious, and the arrangement only lasts for the current session. Once I shut down and restart my computer the windows are, once again, rearranged to no apparent rhyme or reason.
This is getting really frustrating.

First, why does the "recently closed tabs" doesn't work if you close an entire firefox window?
second, why isn't there a place to search through your tab groups?
I just accidentally closed a firefox window with a lot of tabs, including unnamed tab groups.
This is a pain for all browsers, but firefox took it a step further.
There is a "recently closed tab" page which is really convenient, until you need it most when you accidentally close multiple ones. On top of that, I lost multiple unnamed group tabs.
Am I missing something, or is the experience still subpar? I've been a power user of firefox for years now, and I get why I get clowned by chrome users ngl.

As stated, when I close browsers usually some random group of tabs, usually at the starting left side, will be moved to the end of tabs. I need to go in and manually select them and send them to the start or manually move them. Sometimes another group that was to the right of the starting tabs shows up in front of those moved to the end. I have 4 working windows with multiple tabs open. When all are closed, say as to reboot, the last one I was in usually is the one effected. Happens probably 7 or 8 times out of 10 closings.

A few days back, the browser "+" symbol used to open another tab at the top right of the browser window disappeared like a bad odor in the wind. Performed a search and located instructions on line that explained using 'about:config' settings to restore the symbol. It worked and I was browsing wonderfully again.
After closing the browser a few days later, the + symbol has vanished again upon restarting. Have searched in vain online to locate the parameter in about:config that I need to reset, but cannot locate it and I do not remember the parameter to search. CRS problem.
I can go into the Customize menu and drag a folder with a + symbol to the menu bar but it behaves differently. Just want the convenience of clicking the + symbol to automagically start another tab.
