I was a Chrome user and recently shifted to Firefox. Everything is fine but I found out that when I want to merge 2 windows, I have to resize the upper window till the tabs of bottom one appear, so that I can drag and merge them into one. It's quite annoying sometimes especially when using a laptop with the touching pad. In Chrome, when I drag the upper window downward, the bottom one will show up then they can be merged just by a simple drag. Is there any extension or method to do this in Firefox?

To outline my setup, I am using Windows 7 Ultimate with Service pack 1. I tried applying a third-party theme to Windows 7 Ultimate, but it didn't work right. So, I reset Windows theme. Then, I tried applying a theme to Firefox itself and it works except for the "x", "minimize", and "maximize" buttons. What is going wrong? It may be a minor problem, but I like things to work right.
Is there a way to modify Firefox 86 to display the add-on bar at the bottom of browser like in the old days? I like having my weather down there.
Thanks

Dear Community,
I would like to download this extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/pl/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/ I would like to know how it works. If I will install this extension my firefox will be check hashsum for the files of this extension automatically? Or maybe public key of the organization/company who created Adblock Plus extension? How it is work? Can you tell me? I hope that people from Mozilla now read this and can answer for my question. This is very important for me.
Next question is to Adblock Plus extension. I can read this information: "This add-on is not actively monitored for security by Mozilla. Make sure you trust it before installing" so my question is why Mozilla don't recommended this extension? This extension now use 6,678,297 people so this is huge count. It is possible that this extension is not safe and these people now use malicious software? Why on dedicated website for this extension I can't see company name? Why this company is not verified by Mozilla? So my sugestion for people from Mozilla is to change this and check this extension or maybe add some information on website for this extension.
So I should install this extension? My friend use this on Google Chrome and he recommended me this software but I don't know if this is exatcly the same version. Maybe Chrome has verified Adblock Plus software and this is safe but Mozilla didn't verified this and this can be dangerous software because this can be not exactly the same version?
Next question is to adblocker. Why Mozilla can't make their own software to block all annoying ads and due to fight with malware? Example Opera browser have own buil-in adblocker. Why firefox can't do this? Maybe people from Mozilla should do this? This can be helpful because if this can be happen I will be not install any 3rd party software for firefox anymore and I will be safe. Maybe I can send somehow this suggestion to people from Firefox?
I hope that you can help me.
Yours faithfully, Peter

Hi, Since this morning, for some unknown reason, when I place my cursor over a text section in my browser, one or two seconds later a rectangle appears below with the same text inside (it does so with ALMOST all text, regardless of the fact that it is or isn't clickable, apparently, but it does not work with some text here and there – for instance on this very page). It does not correspond to anything I've (voluntarily) asked for, I haven't found anything in the FF settings that relates to this, and I do not think it has anything to do with the plugins I use, though it does correspond to my installing this add-on this morning: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/new-tab-suspender/. Which I've temporarily deactivated... but the popup rectangles keep appearing. Does anyone know why these popups have started appearing all of a sudden, and can anyone help me figure out how to get rid of them? Thanks in advance. Best, jpg

Hello, I have wanted to move from Chrome to Firefox for some time and I finally got to try it out today. Something that has bothered me since the beginning is that right clicking when the cursor hovers over text behaves differently than I'm used to.
This is the behavior I want:
Instead of those options in the contextual menu, the normal page options are appearing (Save Page As, View Page Source…).
Where do I change this behaviour?
Additionally, how can I make the contextual menu include the «Look Up "foo"» option as it does in Chrome (Mac)?
PS: check the names of the images; basically: Chrome; Firefox-what-I-get; Firefox-what-I-want

Sorry, I don't know what this is to classify it. See photo below.

The problem is with Firefox screenshots. Full page shots are working fine, but "Save Visible" and custom selections using the outlining tool are scaling at 71% instead of 100%. So, I'm only getting some of what I want.
How do I fix this? I didn't see anything in config about this.
Pic is an example of what I'm talking about.

I installed Lorex security cameras recently. I can access the DVR support box from Firefox and do admin stuff, but I can see no images from the cameras. Instead of images I get the message:
Your browser does not support this function!
This appears in the sub-window that the current image should appear in. I have installed ffmpeg and gstreamer (libav, ugly and unrar) - all to no avail. I am running Fedora 33 currently patched fully (yesterday).
I find it hard to believe that these images cannot be seen in Firefox. What am I doing wrong????
Hello, if you look at the message below you can see that I can't use the extension but the program is installed properly

Hello everyone! thank you for your assistance and expertise ahead of time as any help is heavily appreciated.
I've been trying to find a way to disabled downloading in Firefox all together. The reason for this is per my organization's requests. As they do not want users downloading anything what so ever.
I've found extensions that can do this, however since I'm tweaking a profile in which is shared amongst all users. Its not the best solution since I have to manually check the add-ons on every time I make a new user profile.
Is there by any chance a means for me to disable downloading as a whole within either userChrome.css or about:config?
Any help again is greatly appreciated.

Firefox 86 has introduced a new print preview panel which I like. What I don't like though is that the unit for print margins has changed from millimeter to inch (see screenshot, in German). In previous versions, it was possible to set the unit in the prefs by changing "print.printer_PostScript/default.print_paper_size_unit". Value 0 meant imperial units, value 1 meant metric units. This entry does no longer exist.
There is still the entry "print.printer_printername.print_paper_size_unit" for every printer that's installed. Those values are all set to 1 in my case but this doesn't seem to have any effect.
So how can I set the margins of printed pages in millimeters instead of inches?
