Since updating to Firefox 70.0 my desktop notifications aren't working on Windows 7 PC. I used to get a notification near the Windows taskbar when I received an email or a facebook event. I've checked in Firefox options and they are definitely enabled. I've also checked on the permissions for the individual sites and notifications are definitely set to Allow. I've tried clearing the cache/cookies/data completely. I've also tried disabling notifications and then re-enabling them

Since Firefox is natively supporting .webp images, they are displayed as webp images on web sites providing this option. How can we force Firefox to fallback to jpg or png images? I know .webp images support is an improvement, but for my case I need to export a lot of pictures from websites using a drag'n drop from Firefox to Windows Explorer. As webp images are not supported natively by Windows, this is useless... I would like to get the standard image instead.
Remark : Before Firefox v70, it was possible to force it tweaking about:config : "image.http.accept" = "image/webp,*/*" > change to "*/*" But this tweak is not working anymore.

There is a strange thing with Firefox Content blocking after Firefox 70 update - when I visit some site Firefox reports that it has tracking cookies but this cookies located in the list of blocked and allowed at the same time, also I saw purple shield in adress bar, so Firefox block something on this time. But on another site I have grey shield wilth same cookies in blocked and allowed lists again. So my question is why Firefox puts same cookies in the list of blocked and allowed and why it shows me different shield in similar situation?

I had to reinstall Firefox browser. After reinstalling, I have noticed that the Tracking Protection shield was always grey. For every site I go to, the Tracker Protection summary (dropdown after clicking the shield) always says "No trackers known to Firefox were detected on this page". This is for sites that previously I know Firefox was blocking trackers.
I'm wondering if perhaps during the reinstall I've lost the file of known trackers somehow? Already tried reinstalling and restarting.

Remaking this thread because my old one (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1249273#answer-1236713) was archived. The annoying dropdown bar when typing something in the URL thingie appears once more, and I want it to stop doing that.
In addition, with this newest update of Firefox I can no longer view images at imgur, as they're all black... and Netflix has also stopped functioning. Is there a way to fix this please? I don't really want to revert to an older version of Firefox but I'll do it if I must.

BUT, on Ubuntu, the video would stop but the audio kept on, until today when it asked to upgrade. I did and now it all cuts out. I'd like to try the older version and see if I still get the audio.

My Firefox crashes all the time, but never creates a Crash Report in About:Crashes & never send me a notice about crashing. Many actions cause it to crash. Here are some: downloading from another site; printing from email like emailed tickets; clicking on some items in Firefox Options, opening a second window in Firefox.. There seems to be no specific pattern. I have uninstalled & installed again several times. & I have also updated. Nothing helps or stops the crashing. It is very frustrating & inconvenient. I have run anti-virus & malware scans. I prefer Firefox to Chrome, but may have to change my default browser if this crashing problem cannot be fixed. Please advise. But it used to work the way that when I close multiple of them, they stayed the same size for a second or so which meant closing multiple of them in a row was much easier (just click in the same place multiple times), right?
Well, it used to (work that way) because it doesn't anymore. Tabs are resizing instantly which is annoying. Here's my question: is there a setting in about:config that got resetted or something or FF70 doesn't have this function anymore? Thanks!

I have stumbled upon a weird issue and can't seem to solve it - some of the pages I visit seem to be blurry and lack sharpness in general. You can see it all on screenshots attached. This happens in different places, using gmail just as an example. I am currently typing this in a tab next to that gmail one, text and images here are in perfectly good shape.
What I have already done:
- forced my NVidia GPU to work with Firefox since I intially suspected that it might be an integrated Intel GPU that is causing this (I might've done something wrong so if you suspect this might be it - please elaborate on how I could address this);
- double-checked font settings, zoom - all seems to be fine;
- reset ClearText settings;
- checked if this presists on an external monitor - it does.
I am not claiming this just started happening after the last update: I haven't used Firefox for some good time and am now considering switching back. Version is included on screenshots just for reference. I am currently on 70.0 (64-bit).
Any input would be immensly appreciated!
