After a couple of years just receiving emails on my phone, I decided to sort out how to send them. I see that the Thunderbird App can be installed simply by pointing phone at desk top screen QR code. I clicked onto Thunderbird Settings/Export for Mobile then clicked 'export' and got request for Username and Password, but have not got these to hand and don't know where to find them. Some of the installations seem to be blocked by Microsoft if you are using a Microsoft system. If the Software being downloaded is not sold by Microsoft store, Microsoft blocks it or deforms it. During any update, Microsoft removes MusicBee and some other software not purchased from Microsoft store

With the Firefox version before 146.0, macOS Tahoe 26.1 would grab 2FA 6-digit codes from either Messages or Mail, as appropriate, and populate the 2FA field on a website. With FF 146.0 this no longer works. Not a fatal problem but an annoying loss of a convenient function.

Amazon exploits its workers, pollutes a bunch, and even works with israel. google sells user data, and also pollutes a bunch and works with israel, and temu potentially uses slave labour, as well as polluting a bunch.

I understand Mozilla needs money to operate but I'm sure there are tonnes of ethical businesses it could promote

Since I updated my computer to windows 11, I cannot load my amazon page. I've tried to load directly from menu bar, still NG. There must be a setting I'm not understanding

When I try to embed an image in an email as soon as I click on "insert" and "image" the message freezes. All I can do is to access the task manager to close Thunderbird altogether and then start again - but the same problem occurs when I try again.

I had to fall back on sending the image as an attachment. Now that I come to think of it this has been a problem for some considerable time.

NB as you can see from the sequence this crash occurs before I have been able to select the image - so it has nothing to do with the size or format of the image.

I need step by step instructions in order to make the changes that Mozilla/Firefox wants me to do. I have also been having medical issues which is affecting me mentally. Right now I am totally confused, and I don't know what to do.

I use the email address [email 2 removed]@interia.pl. The account is configured in Thunderbird on a Lenovo laptop. The laptop is protected by ESET Smart Security antivirus software. As recommended by Eset, I added ESET VPN to my protection. After enabling ESET VPN, the address doesn't configure. It requests a password. I receive messages that the server is disconnecting. Other addresses work. Disabling ESET VPN causes the address to work. This problem doesn't occur on my other Outlook email client. I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue. I have been using the Dashlane Password system on my desktop for several years and it works great with Firefox, however, Firefox was recently upgraded (automatically) to Firefox version 145. Now I can no longer access the Dashlane application which contains all of my passwords. What should I do to recover my Dashlane application?

Since update to version 145.0 I cannot send messages, when sending I get this message "Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: <*******@shaw.ca> sender rejected AUP#POL. Please verify that your email address is correct in your account settings and try again". Nothing has changed with account settings. Same problem on another machine that updated to 145.0. Any ideas what is broken?
