I use a portal for work and am required to download a variety of documents for specific tasks. When I download certain documents, predominantly Word documents, they are saved with a file name that ends with the word attachment, e.g. 'abcd.docx,attachment'

This does not happen with any other browsers that I use and I know the obvious answer is to use those but I'm interested as to whether anybody else has had this problem and whether they have found a solution?

2 issues, first it asks me for my password over and over again until I am so angry I could scream! First my password but then oh surprise the password is wrong so I reset it and it asks for my recovery key so I go look for my recovery key and find it and copy then enter it and thats wrong. Then I look and I am fucking signed in any way! WHAT THE HELL! GOOGLE you make so much money and your destroying the planet with your tech so why can't you figure out this stupid shit already...COME ON!! 2nd, WHY ARE MY DOWNLOADS NOT GOING ONTO MY DOWNLOADS FOLDER! I am not a tech idiot!!! BTW I am an advanced user so if I am having a hard time it's because your software is garbage!!! Seriously I just need my downloads to download...That should be so easy!!! Same as password management...It should not be hard for you of all company's the least you could do for your users are these simple and small things! And if I could take a screenshot easily and download it and show you BELIEVE YOU ME I WOULD BUT I CAN'T FOR THE VERY REASON I AM PISSED OFF ABOUT! JUNK!! GOOGLE!! YOU ARE JUNK!!! And is what I read true, that you have volunteers working on this thread? Of course a multi-bazillion dollar company would be using volunteers to do the work...Who needs money but google right? Nobody I guess!

Good morning Why on the website https://www.plusliga.pl/ when I select a match I can't view it point by point, but in the Safari browser I can?

I tried restore under managing bookmarks, but it only give me about a week or two's dates as choices. I went back and it is still gone. I looked for an Old Firefox Data file on my desktop (or anywhere on my computer) and did not find that either. If I can't choose to add something to a category or to the tool bar, the bookmark function is not really helpful to me.

I got a random pop up on Firefox that I clicked without fully reading it, which closed Firefox and then prompted me for the administrator password (aka the password of that account on my laptop) so Firefox can install a helper tool. I did, and it did nothing. Every time I try to open Firefox I get the same pop up prompt and no matter how many times I give the password nothing happens, and I can't open the application. Clicking cancel on the prompt also does nothing.

I logged onto a different account on my laptop and can use Firefox like normal, but none of my settings/bookmarks/passwords from my other Mac account are saved here.

I would just delete and reinstall Firefox on the administrator account that is having this issue, but I don't know if I have anything properly backed up on Firefox, and I have a ton of things saved on there that I really don't want to lose. What do I do? Please help :(

I've been having issues logging in to my Instagram account through the Firefox browser. I've tried entering the password manually, clearing cache+cookies, opening in troubleshoot mode, and turning off the enhanced tracking mode (in case that might've been causing the issue) all to no success. This has been an issue since I started using Firefox as my default browser about 2 months ago.

To sign into Chatgbt I used my google account. Mozilla asks me "do I want to store info in persistent storage?" I click "learn more" about persistent storage. It takes me to a page that has zero mention of the words "persistent storage". That is a huge UX error. It says to me that really, you don't want me to know about persistent storage, and prefer that I remain confused and feel forced to agree to things I may not really want to, because you're making it difficult to understand what's actually involved. Not cool. Definitely now considering changing my browser after over 20 years.

The "Subject" pretty much describes my specific question. You will see an example in the screenshot I uploaded. When I increase the screen using comm + the type is too large & the video shrinks. ((although, somehow, the screen becomes smaller even though I'm enlarging it). Even with my reading glasses, I can't see 95% of the type.

I've poured through everything (i think) on the website, and I made some changes, but they didn't make a difference (other than getting rid of those miserable recommended videos on the side).

I have another question: Do I have to use a secondary email address: my Dept. of Ed. Outlook address, but I've just retired, and won't have access to it in about six months. I also don't want the DOE all up in my business: emails are legal documents forever & ever.

Lastly, the "Share Data" link says "the internal workings of your browser." What does that mean?

Does FIREFOX offer an app that will read my email to me? OR (desktop Mac)

I have a DAW (Digital Audio Workstsation) (Logic is the version Apple offers. )and I've purchased many musical apps. Guitars, keyboards, etc but a lot of them have long manuals. I'd love to be able to hear the text, say while washing dishes.

I do have the CC on my television while viewing shows

Hello. My macBook recently died. I was signed into Firefox, so my tabs should have saved. I tried to open / upload them onto my new iMac desktop. But for some reason it only keeps wanting to mirror the open tabs on my iPad, which is not what I want. I want to resurrect the tabs open on my macBook before it died. How do I best do this please? In a Firefox window, the left-most pane shows Homepage on top followed by a list of recent open websites. In my current window for example, below the home page heading I have Log in/Sign up/Mozilla Support then Get Support| Mozilla Support followed by +New Tab. There is nothing special about the particular configuration. I mention the exact configuration for orientation. My problem, for the example I am describing, is the existence of a popup that is in a separate bubble window that states Get Support|Mozilla Support on the first line and support.mozilla.org in the second. Popups like this one always appear. They are driving me crazy because they persist when some new window is moved over the Firefox window. That is, they always come to the front of a stack of windows. They often cover some clickable list in another application. I'm working with the latest MAC OS on a Macbook Pro. I have tried the usual advice to turn off popups in the FireFox settings. This toggle has no effect on these popup windows. Is there a way to turn them off!
