With thunderbird version 140.4.0esr (64-Bit) on Linux functions to print e-mails or pdf documents is no longer working. When trying to print an email or a pdf document thunderbird starts looping and you need to stop thunderbird from outside with a kill command.

After Windows installed an update in the middle of the night I can't open Thunderbird and I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling with success.

It says: Thunderbird is already running, but is not responding. The old Thunderbird process must be closed to open a new window.

I've rebooted the PC, shut down the PC, ended the task and still nothing. It seem that Thunderbird didn't shut down correctly and the system still thinks that it's open and running. Anyone know how I can fix this issue?

Recently started having odd behavior from FF, crash sometimes when opening a video in PIP, crash every single time I open a new private window with hotkey.

Had some freezing as well as right-click menus not showing options, those went away by enabling HW acceleration.

Submitted crashlogs and found a bugzilla link refrenced. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2000475

Can I downgrade to 144.0 without losing profiles/settings/passwords and history? Do I just download the 144.0 installer or is there a different process for downgrading? (I am assuming this could help exclusively based on the bugzilla refrence, it might not)

Not sure what else to do, FF is still freezing after watching videos for a few minutes, I am not even sure if this is strictly a FF issue or a Win 11 issue.

I previously downloaded Thunderbird earlier this year. Somehow, I got things glitched and got locked out, so I bailed out and deleted Thunderbird.

Now, I've decided to try Thunderbird again, and I just downloaded it AGAIN (and made another donation), but I'm still locked out - can't get ANYWHERE with Thunderbird.

HELP!!!!!!!

When I open Thunderbird it opens to a blank screen and then crashes after a minute or two. I've tried restarting, quitting, restarting the computer and checked that the app is not blocked by any firewalls. When it opens to the blank screen, it does give me the pop-up notification if an email comes through, but it's still just a blank screen. Is there a way to fix this? Thank you

Whenever I upload a file via my phone (Samsung Galaxy A55 5G), Firefox shows the upload prompt (selecting where the file is going to be) then crashes on its own.

I noticed this when I was using Canva, then tried a few more sites and the upload-crash problem persists all throughout.

Is there any way to troubleshoot this?

Seit einiger Zeit bleibt Thunderbird jedes Mal nach 5 Minuten hängen, lässt sich nur über das Windows-Fenster "Thunderbird reagiert nicht" schließen, wobei alle nicht gespeicherten Daten verloren gehen. Ich habe über Webmail meines Anbieters ewetel das Konto bereinigt und das Postfach gelehrt. Das Problem besteht weiterhin. Ich wäre dankbar für jeden Tipp, da ich das Programm schon lange benutze und weiter nutzen möchte.

Hi, I’ve noticed that Firefox on my Android device often crashes or freezes whenever I try to launch or access certain modded APK-based games. I’ve already tried clearing cache and disabling extensions, but the issue still happens.

A few days ago thunderbird started getting clunky and freezing intermittently for about 30-40 seconds each time. I decided to uninstall it and re-install. Now when I launch TB it freezes and will not load at all. Tried opening in safe mode and that didn't work. I have accessed my profile folder but didn't want to do anything until I asked. Its setup as IMAP and I've used it for years with the same settings and never had any issues. Any help would be appreciated.

I keep getting sporadic crashes, and sometimes a tab crash (particularly on maps.google.com). I have the latest updates to all my software. What can I do to help prevent these crashes? Firefox repeatedly crashes on my, multiple times a day. I'dc really like to NOT have to change my default browser to Chrome.

What happens is that Firefox freezes, and I get a white bar at the top telling me so. I get a popup box asking if I want to close Firefox or wait for it to respond. Waiting doesn't work, so I always have to close Firefox. When I reopen it, fortunately all m,y open tabs are retained, but it crashes again within minutes or seconds as soon as I click on anything.

There only thing that seems to work is a reboot of my PC. But the respite is short before Firefox crashes again.

I've disabled most plugins, but that hasn't helped. Is there a way to create an event log within Firefox that I can share with someone at Mozilla to help e debug the issue? It's got to be something local rather than Firefox itself; I can't imagine this is happening to most users.

TB freeze when receiving an email. I am not able to do anything when TB downloading new email. I need to switch off by task manager and then open again to continue, and start all over again. Please help!

No matter what I try to read or go to, Firefox crashes repeatedly. I literally cannot use it at all. I keep getting: Gah. Your tab just crashed. We can help! Choose Restore This Tab or Restore All Crashed Tabs to reload the page/pages.

Clicking those options fixes nothing! How do I go back to the previous version, please?
