If you have what's known as an "All-in-one" printer, after you install the printer software package Firefox will recognize it automatically. No special steps to take.

When you go to use that "A-i-o" the first time in Firefox, initiate printing = {Ctrl + P} - then at Printer - Name select that "printer" from the list, then proceed with printing something. After that Firefox will use that "A-i-o" every time until you select a different printer. Firefox default to the "last used" printer.
