Upgraded firefox all browsers now cannot connect, OK when back to previous version. Can you help?
I upgraded to firefox 29. Computer was rebooted and all access to internet ceased. Tried other browsers and they would not load either. Checked internet connection OK. Reloaded the older firefox and all works on all browsers. Reluctant to try to upgrade again.

hello, normally such issues are caused by a firewall/security software which doesn't recognize & therefore blocks new firefox versions: Fix problems connecting to websites after updating Firefox
Yes some software Firewalls can be a pain as in blocking the new version .exe yet allowing the previous version .exe.
I agree, but why are explorer and chrome also unable to connect? When the older version of firefox re- installed all three browsers work.
Funny that everyone was willing to reply until you asked the real question, then silence. I've been having the same problem, too. I understand a firewall blocking the new update, but there is no reason why that change should block ALL connections on that computer. I'm hoping someone can post a fix. These system restores are getting very old.
