I follow all the steps, drag icon to A, say "yes" to replace, but still have version 15 (not 25) installed.

I have FF version 15 installed on my MacBook. I keep getting notices to update. When I click to update the download gets into some sort of loop and the download just keeps spinning around (forever if I let it, so I exit). So, this morning I went to the Mozilla page to download the newest version. I followed all of the steps. It downloads, then I click to install and it seems to almost install. The last step is to drag the icon to the Mac A box, so I do that. Viola, it is done! Then I open Firefox to see what version I have. Whatdoyouknow, I still have Version 15! Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks, Bob

Hello BobPokras, try, after download the new firefox version, to trash the current, don't say "yes" to replace the current one.

1. Download a copy of the latest firefox from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html

2. Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean install.

3. Install the version that you have downloaded.
