Have a HUGE IPOD AD displayed in YAHOO home page that I can not close, but not with IE8.

I have Firefox 17.0 , NORTON security and running XP service pack 3. I just started having the problem. When I didn't have the issue when using IE8 I upgraded to Firefox 17, but that HUGE annoying IPOD AD was still there. It doesn't appear to a problem with Yahoo, at least to me.
