I have a phone which is the clone of the Sony X1 Xperia. The picture you get which shows the operating system is of an apple with a byte taken out of it. Anyone know what this operating system is? I see no ID in the menus at all. No place for upgrade or apps. It has functioning web services the show as a world with WWW in the middle of the globe when you start the web services. Any Ideas?

The iFone X1 appears to be a Windows Mobile-based phone (I watched an unboxing video and it definitely had the WM-style stylus and navigation during the setup). Not sure which version you have, or the easiest way to determine that.

There still are plenty of apps available on the web for Windows Mobile 6 and 6.1. However, Microsoft shut down its apps marketplace for WM in May, so you'll need to use third party sites.

Here's an app I found handy when I ran WinMo. Note that most PocketPC apps are upwardly compatible with WinMo Professional.

File Manager: Total Commander

Does Firefox support the Android 4.03 7 inch tablet/phone? I'm hoping the A10 Processor 1.5 GHZ will work on Firefox mobile. Any problems getting it to work? I have to buy a new phone someday. Thanks for the answer.

Could you provide more information about the tablet? Firefox requires a CPU that runs the ARM v7 instruction set. This page has some compatibility information, but because the development team can't test everything, you should view it as suggestive rather than complete: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/mobile/14.0/system-requirements/

What device model is it exactly?

The "A10" is a little confusing alone as some Chinese tablets are sometimes mistakenly listed as having a Cortex A10 when that does not exist and there is the AllWinner A10 which is with an ARM Coretex A8 single-core processor which is a ARMv7 cpu.

It sounds like it could be the AllWinner A10 which is really 1GHz with a theoretical overclock 1.5GHz ? and 1.2GHZ the max for stability.

Did some searches and one bad brand pops up as Apad so hopefully it is not that as Apad had rather crappy Android tablets in past in bad reliability.

Allwinner A10 ARM Cortex A8 1.5GHz is what it shows. I got to wonder just what they mean. What ever I type in Google search shows up as a description of the phone. They seem to be hyping the tablet even claiming to be a phone when there is no GSM or AGPS and they use 4G for gig instead of 4G cell data cap. It's going to be tough to find a 7 inch tablet/Phone in the market when Google allows them to instantly replace descriptions which may be the reason they are not in China any more. Of course I've seen that here also. Thanks, I'll keep searching. If you are familiar with any other CPUs that are available and work with Firefox let me know. You guys are great. I tried to upload BMP pics but they error out.
