To change search engine. Go to Options (under tools). Click on General. Scroll down to Home Page. Remove current search engine (just backspace over). Type in search engine you wish (e.g. www.goodle.ca). Close page. Open page. Search engine of your choice should come right up.
Hi, Congratulations on your new phone.
Yahoo was set as the default home page on the stock browser it seems; you should be able to change this to something else. However, there is a full featured Firefox browser for mobile devices; you can install Firefox for Android via the Google Play store. Firefox for Android is faster than the stock (default) browser.
