I want Firefox to ask me if I want to save this password for login purposes. It did that with the first 3 sites i went to... but now it stopped asking!

Question... I want Firefox to ask me if I want to save this password for login purposes. It did that with the first 3 sites i went to... but now it stopped asking! I've gone to several DIFFERENT websites that require a login and in ALL instances since the first 3 it saved... I don't get the popup window asking if I want to save the password. How do I get that feature back???? Thanks... Rick
