Recent answers to I've tried updating my Firefox browser several times, but none of the updates for the newer versions work. I'm running Windows XP and Firefox 3.5. </p><p>A friend suggested I back up my bookmarks, then try uninstalling &amp; reinstalling Firefox the traditional way, and rebooting my system afterwards.
</p><p>I'm going to try that to see if there is some kind of other issue going on between Google Plus and all of the websites that say my browser is out of date (ie. version 3.5) when it is not.
