Cannot add addons to firefox after upgrading to ubuntu 11.04

Today I have upgraded to Ubuntu 11.04 from 10.10 . So, I decided I needed an addon for downloading videos from the web. I visited the addons page and tried to download few of them. But all of them responded that there is a connection problem with the site.
